On the 2nd day of the week-long Nationwide Brigada Eskwela, the 502nd Combat Engineer "Cutting-Edge" Battalion headed by LTC BRYAN A MACUTAY CE (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, were able to contribute ongoingly in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program at Suribao Elementary School, Brgy. Sabang, Borongan City, Eastern Samar, demonstrating its continued commitment to community service and support for quality education.

The activity brought together educators, parents, local officials, volunteers, and various stakeholders in a collective effort to prepare the school for the upcoming academic year.
Through cooperation and volunteerism, participants worked hand in hand to create a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for every learner. Meanwhile, other activities in support to the Brigada Eskwela were simultaneously being conducted at Lalawigan National Highschool and Eastern Samar Comprehensive Highschool.

As partners in nation-building, the 502nd Combat Engineer Battalion remains steadfast in supporting initiatives that promote education, community development, and the welfare of future generations.

Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to nation-building through community service, the 502nd Combat Engineer "Cutting-Edge" Battalion headed by LTC BRYAN S MACUTAY CE (GSC) PA actively participated in the Opening Program of Brigada Eskwela 2026 held at Eastern Samar Comprehensive National High School, Lalawigan National High School, and Suribao Elementary School.

From 01–05 June 2026, personnel of the battalion joins educators, parents, local government units, volunteers, and stakeholders in preparing school facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students as they return to school.

The participation of the 502nd Combat Engineer Battalion highlights the unit's dedication not only to its engineering and security mandates but also to supporting educational initiatives that strengthen communities and foster a brighter future for the youth.

Through Brigada Eskwela, the battalion reaffirms its commitment to serving the people and promoting the spirit of volunteerism, cooperation, and shared responsibility in advancing quality education.

The 502 Combat Engineer "Cutting-Edge" Battalion under the leadership of the Battalion Commander LTC BRYAN S MACUTAY CE (GSC) PA proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Flag Day, honoring the symbol of our freedom, unity, and sovereignty.

As we raise the Philippine Flag, we reaffirm our commitment to serve the Filipino people with integrity, courage, and excellence. Guided by the values it represents, we remain steadfast in our mission of nation-building, peace, and development.
