Hon. Frich Baylon D. Uy spearheaded a Committee Consultative Meeting for the proposed Ordinance Enacting the Community-Based Drug Rehabilation Program (CBDRP) under the Comm. on Disaster Preparedness and Public Safety as its Chairperson today, May 26,2026 at the SP Session Hall. 🥰❤

We were joined by Committee Vice Chair Hon. Renato Bagacay and Member Hon. Ma. Rozene Daza. Also with us were Dr. Kelly Cainday(CHO), Dr. Katrina Rapada (CHO), Dr. Patricia Apita (CHO), Ms. Danielle Joy Ampong (CSWDO), Ma'am Olga Ador (CHRMO), and Atty. Celestino Cabato (City Legal Office).

The consultation comprehensively tackled the salient provisions of the proposed legislative measure, focusing on its objectives, scope, and anticipated impact on the community and concerned stakeholders. Discussions centered on the specific mechanisms, responsibilities, and guidelines outlined in the proposed ordinance to ensure that all provisions are clearly understood and aligned with existing laws, policies, and local governance frameworks.

A proper committee meeting will be conducted within the second week of June for a deeper deliberation. Thanks and be safe everyone! ❤

Cheyney Ibarbia, we deliberated on the endorsement of the Tricycle Franchising Board regarding the applicants for the grant of franchise by the Sangguniang Panlungsod to operate motorized tricycles for hire in the City of Borongan.
