Selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan 2026

Muling ipinagdiwang ng Balabag Elementary School ang Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan 2026, bilang pagpapakita ng patuloy na pagpapahalaga, pagmamahal, at pagpapayaman sa wikang Filipino at sa kasaysayan ng ating bansa.

Sa kabila ng pagpapatupad ng bagong patakaran ng Department of Education (DepEd) hinggil sa Instructional Blocks, naging makabuluhan at masigla pa rin ang pagdiriwang. Patuloy na isinabuhay ng mga g**o at mag-aaral ang diwa ng Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan sa pamamagitan ng integrasyon ng mga gawaing pangwika at pangkasaysayan sa mga talakayan at iba’t ibang gawain sa klase.

Muling nabigyang-buhay ang makukulay at makasaysayang kasuotang Pilipino, kasabay ng pagpapakita ng pagmamalaki sa ating wika, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan. Naging posible ang matagumpay na pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagsisikap at malikhaing pakikilahok ng mga g**o at mag-aaral.

Samantala, nagbigay-aliw at dagdag-kaalaman ang mga miyembro ng Filipino Club at Araling Panlipunan Club sa pamamagitan ng kanilang Room-to-Room Trivia Quest, isang gawaing naglalayong subukin at palawakin ang kaalaman ng mga mag-aaral tungkol sa wika, kasaysayan, kultura, at mga mahahalagang personalidad at pangyayari sa ating bansa.

Ang makabuluhang selebrasyong ito ay naging matagumpay dahil sa buong-pusong dedikasyon at suporta ng mga g**o ng Balabag Elementary School, gayundin sa aktibong pakikiisa ng mga mag-aaral at mga magulang.

Ang pagdiriwang ay pinangunahan nina Bb. Carol T. Asis, Filipino Coordinator, at Gng. Cindy R. Fuenllona, Araling Panlipunan Coordinator, sa pakikiisa ng buong pamunuan, mga g**o, mag-aaral, at mga magulang ng Balabag Elementary School.

Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos, patuloy nating pinayayaman ang ating wika, kasaysayan, kultura, at pagka-Pilipino, hindi lamang tuwing buwan ng Agosto, kundi sa bawat araw na ating ginagamit, ipinagmamalaki, at ipinapasa sa susunod na henerasyon ang ating pagkakakilanlan.

VODAREN SOLUTIONS INC. SUPPORTS BALABAG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL REPAINTING PROJECT 🌟✨

In a inspiring showcase of community collaboration, Vodaren Solutions Inc., represented by Engr. Archie Acosta, has generously donated a pail of latex paint to Balabag Elementary School. This donation will be a big help in support of our ongoing school wall repainting project, bringing a fresh, vibrant, and welcoming environment to our learners.

This meaningful contribution was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Barangay Balabag leadership, headed by Barangay Captain Hon. Jayson Y. Talapian and Committee on Education Chair Hon. Evalyn Betsuki. Present to accept the donation on behalf of the school community were School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) Officers Ma'am Precell Ureta and Ma'am Maria Rosalyn Batistis.

Ang Mababang Paaralan ng Balabag ay buong pusong nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang:

“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Sama-sama nating itaguyod at ipagmalaki ang Wikang Filipino, ang wikang sumasalamin sa ating pagkakakilanlan, kultura, at kasaysayan. Sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya, kabilang ang Artificial Intelligence (AI), nawa’y maging kasangkapan ito sa pagpapalawak ng kaalaman, pagpapayaman ng pananaliksik, at higit na pagpapahalaga sa ating pambansang wika.

Attention, teachers, parents, students, and community stakeholders! 🏫✨

We are officially opening the selection and election process for our School Governance Council (SGC) Members. The SGC plays a vital role in shaping our school’s direction, fostering community partnerships, and ensuring a brighter future for our learners.
Here is a quick guide on the Composition of SGC Members as we form this year's council:

👥 The 4 Ex-Officio Members
The core of the SGC will be composed of four (4) internal and external school stakeholders representing the following groups:
1. Designated Co-Chairperson
2. Student Government Representative
3. Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Representative
4. Faculty Club Representative (or its equivalent)

🤝 How They Will Be Chosen:
For the Co-Chairperson: The School Head will designate a school representative who embodies leadership, strong community ties, and professional engagement (aligned with Domain 6 of the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers, DepEd Order 42, s. 2017).

For the Organization Representatives: Each respective school organization, association, or committee will appoint their representative. Take note: The representative does not need to be the incumbent president or chairperson of that group!

🚨 BALABAG ES IS CPR-READY! 🔴 Ready to Save Lives, Ready for a Resilient Malay! 💪

In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, the dedicated teachers and eager learners of Balabag Elementary School stepped up to become certified lifesavers!

On July 13, 2026, our school delegation actively participated in "CPR-READY MALAY: Building a Community of Lifesavers" held at the La Carmela de Boracay Resort Hotel.

Organised by the Malay Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), this critical community training equipped our educators and students with hands-on, life-saving skills in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response.

Disasters and emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. By learning how to perform CPR properly, our Balabag ES family is not just gaining knowledge we are taking an active role in keeping our school, our homes, and the entire Boracay community safe.

A huge thank you to Malay MDRRMO for leading this vital initiative, and hats off to our brave teachers and learners who are now officially part of Malay's growing community of lifesavers! 🧑‍🏫🎒🩷
