📣📣SUPPORT THE ADVOCACY 📣📣 | Every year, the country celebrates Consumer Welfare Month (CWM) throughout October under Presidential Proclamation No. 1098, series of 1997. The month-long celebration aims to promote consumer awareness and disseminate consumer information on policies and programs affecting consumer welfare.

This year's celebration carries the theme "Gens: Generation Sustainable" in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12: Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP), and to heighten the DTI's advocacy initiatives on SCP. lt highlights the rise of more sustainability-oriented consumers the importance of responsible consumption and the adoption of sustainable lifestyles to harness genuine and sustained change. lt further reinforces the need for consumers to consciously make sustainable choices in availing goods and services and supporting government-led initiatives and grassroots efforts in promoting sustainability.

The Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Office of Oriental Mindoro is set to conduct the Infographic Making Contest in line with the celebration of World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD) 2023 themed: Empowering Consumers Through Clean Energy Transitions this March. The WCRD is an annual celebration every 15th day of March to raise global awareness of consumer rights, consumer protection, and empowerment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a bonafide resident of Oriental Mindoro.
Must be at least 16 years old, male and female.
Must attend the Orientation. (You may choose a schedule given in the registration form)

WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE THE PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN IN THIS CONTEST as we join in the celebration of National Women's Month 2023 themed WE for gender equality and inclusive society.

PRIZES
1st – ₱5,000.00 cash, certificate, and token
2nd – ₱4,000.0 cash, certificate, and token
3rd – ₱3,000.00 cash, certificate, and token
4th – ₱2,000.00 cash, certificate, and token

Simula noong ika-3 hanggang ika-10 ng Enero, isangdaan at dalawampu’t siyam na negosyo na sa lalawigan ang naiproseso na ng Department of Trade and Industry Oriental Mindoro para sa mga transaksyon na may kaugnayan sa business name registration. Kaugnay dito, hinihikayat ng DTI Oriental Mindoro ang lahat ng negosyante sa lalawigan na pagparehistro o magrenew na ng kanilang mga business name.
