BOGO CITY Police Station Beat/Foot Patrollers conducted intensified foot patrol operations in Bogo City, Cebu, to enhance police visibility, deter criminal activities, maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety. Personnel of the Bogo City Police Station, in coordination with the Bogo Traffic Management Office of the City Government of Bogo, conducted an intensified checkpoint operation as part of the continuing efforts to strengthen security measures, ensure public safety, maintain peace and order, and deter criminal activities within the area.
During the operation, motorists and commuters were reminded to strictly observe traffic laws, carry proper documents, and cooperate with authorities in promoting a safe, orderly, and peaceful community. The Bogo City Police Station remains committed in intensifying police visibility and proactive law enforcement operations in support of public safety and community security.

Bogo City Police Arrest Woman Wanted for Two Counts of Estafa in Siquijor Operation

An intensified manhunt operation conducted by personnel of the Bogo City Police Station led to the successful arrest of a woman wanted for two counts of Estafa on May 21, 2026, in San Juan, Siquijor.

The arrested individual was identified as a 55-year-old female listed as an Other Wanted Person (OWP) under the old warrant system. She was apprehended in Barangay Maite, San Juan, Siquijor through a joint operation carried out by the Tracker Team of Bogo City Police Station under the supervision, in coordination with operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Unit and San Juan Municipal Police Station.

Police reports disclosed that the arrest stemmed from the service of an alias warrant of arrest issued by the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch in Bogo City, Cebu, for two counts of Estafa with recommended bail fixed at β‚±6,000.00 for each count.

Authorities said the accused was properly informed of the nature of her offense and her constitutional rights in accordance with the Miranda Doctrine prior to her arrest. Following proper documentation, the arrested individual will be turned over to the issuing court for appropriate legal proceedings.

PCOL ABUBAKAR UDANG MANGELEN JR. commended the operating personnel for the successful implementation of the warrant and emphasized Cebu PPO’s continued commitment in tracking down wanted persons even outside the province. β€œThis successful operation demonstrates the dedication and persistence of our police personnel in locating wanted individuals wherever they may hide. Cebu PPO will continue to intensify its campaign against fugitives from justice to ensure that lawbreakers are held accountable before the courts,” PCOL MANGELEN stated.

The Cebu Police Provincial Office continues to encourage individuals with standing warrants to peacefully surrender and cooperate with authorities while assuring the public of its sustained anti-criminality efforts across Cebu Province.
