Ang aming barangay ay nagsasagawa ng lingguhang Clean & Green Program na may aktibong partisipasyon ng mga opisyal at residente. Sama-sama kaming naglilinis ng kalsada, kanal, at pampublikong lugar upang mapanatili ang kalinisan at maiwasan ang pagbaha. May segregation din ng basura upang mapalakas ang disiplina sa waste management. Ang programang ito ay nagpapakita ng tunay na bayanihan at malasakit sa kapaligiran. Dahil dito, naging mas maayos, malinis, at ligtas ang aming komunidad.

Under Republic Act No. 7581, also known as the Price Act, several government agencies are responsible for the monitoring of Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities (BNPCs) in the market. Each agency has specific products under its jurisdiction:
• Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)- Monitors the prices of basic household manufactured products such as canned goods, processed milk, coffee, laundry soap, detergent, candles, and other similar commodities.
• Department of Agriculture (DA)- Responsible for monitoring the prices of agricultural products, including rice, corn, fish, pork, poultry, fresh vegetables, root crops, and other agricultural commodities.
• Department of Health (DOH)- Oversees the prices of essential drugs and medicines.
• Department of Energy (DOE)- Monitors the prices of petroleum products, including LPG and kerosene.
At all times, consumers are encouraged to stay informed about the prevailing prices of basic goods and report possible violations to the appropriate government agency.

The Northern Samar Consumers Welfare Alliance (NOSCWA), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry-Northen Samar Provincial Office (DTI-NSPO), invites you to join a run for a cause on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Catarman Freedom Park.

This event is a highlight of Consumer Welfare Month, celebrating the theme: "Bida ang Konsyumer sa Bagong Pilipinas."
