Parayao NHS Holds Rapid Enrollment for Incoming Grade 11 Students

Parayao National High School conducted its Rapid Enrollment today for incoming Grade 11 students, supporting the implementation of the Strengthened Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum and helping learners make informed decisions about their next academic step.

Parayao NHS Conducts Career Guidance, Urges Early SHS Enrollment

Parayao National High School conducted a Career Guidance activity for Grade 10 students today, reinforcing key messages introduced during the recent Parents’ Orientation on the Strengthened Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum.

The session focused on explaining the updated SHS program, particularly the removal of strands and the reduction of subjects to make learning more focused and relevant. Students were also encouraged to choose Parayao National High School for their Senior High School education and to enroll early to secure their slots.

Guided by School Principal Dr. Rolando C. Diaz, Assistant School Principal Dr. Belen Veronica R. Urmaza, and Mrs. Marina S. Caburnay, the activity proved both inspiring and informative. Teachers and students actively participated in the discussions, creating an engaging environment that helped learners better understand their academic options and future pathways.

The initiative reflects the school’s continued commitment to equipping students with the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions as they transition to Senior High School.

Parayao NHS Guides Parents on New Senior High School Curriculum

“Choosing the right school is choosing the direction of a child’s future.” With this message at the heart of the gathering, Grade 10 parents assembled at the Parayao National High School gymnasium at 9 a.m. today for an orientation on the Strengthened Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum.

The orientation introduced parents to the key features of the strengthened SHS program, particularly the removal of strands and the significant reduction in the number of subjects to make learning more focused and manageable for students.

The event also featured inspiring testimonies from several Senior High School students and graduates who shared their stories of growth and success at the school, offering reassurance to parents as they consider where their children will pursue Senior High School.

The activity was supported not only by parents but also by Parents-Teachers Association President Nelia Padilla and school administrators Dr. Rolando C. Diaz, Dr. Belen Veronica T. Urmaza, and Mrs. Marina S. Caburnay, who emphasized the importance of school–community partnership in guiding learners toward a promising future.

Career Guidance for Grade 10 students and Rapid Enrollment for incoming Senior High School students are scheduled on March 19 as the next step in preparing learners for their transition to Senior High School.
