l Extension (Tapacon Campus). Pursuant to Rule III, section 3.2 of RA No. 9155, otherwise known as the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001 and DepEd Order No. 71, s. 2003 entitled "Transfer of Delegated Authority from the Office of the Secretary to the Regional Office Regarding Approval of the Establishment, Separation of Annexes, Integration, Conversion and Renaming of Public Elementary and Secondary Schools", Mildred L. Garay, CESO III, Regional Director, Department of Education Region VI, Duran Street, Iloilo City, do hereby grant Government Recognition to JOVITA ALFARAS RIVERA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, Tapacon, Bingawan, Iloilo as a Public Secondary School duly granted full separation from the mother school, Bingawan National High School, Bingawan, Iloilo, effective July 15, 2011. Rivera, all co owners of undivided share of Lot No. 7190 Survey of Calinog with Transfer Certificate of Title No. Tapacon, Bingawan, Iloilo with a total area of Four Hundred Three Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Seven Square Meters (403, 727), a part of which is indicated as Lot No. 16 and Lot No. 14 of Sketch Surveying Plan prepared by Santome Surveying Office, more or less. It was formerly donated to the Local Government Unit (LGU), Municipality of Bingawan for school site purposes only, as such it was subsequently donated to the Republic of the Philippines, Department of Education and represented by Raymundo A. Lapating, Ph.D., Schools Division Superintendent. JARNHS is twelve kilometers (12) away from the Poblacion of Bingawan where the Bingawan National High School, Bingawan, Iloilo, is located. With the establishment of this school, it is now more economical for the parents to send their children to school because of proximity, thus saving on house rents and fares. Bingawan National High School Extension (Tapacon Campus) presently has four (7) permanent teachers and one (1) Teacher – in – Charge, all nationally funded,while two (2) others are Provincial School Board (PSB) funded. The school now has two (2) two – classroom school buildings, one (1) one - classroom building and one (1) temporary buildings made of light materials. Student population for school year 2011 – 2012 was two hundred sixty four (264), one hundred thirty nine (139) are males and one hundred twenty five (125) are females.
