CAN YOU BE RIGHT-WING AND BE SUPPORTIVE OF THE DEATH PENALTY?
Yes. But why?
Last Friday, Kyle Antatico was shot dead. He was killed for being vocal against corruption in National Irrigation Administration (NIA). As a former legal researcher of NIA, he had been writing about missing funds, half-built canals, and anomalous contracts entered into by the NIA. As we can see here, Kyle suffered the death penalty for the wrong reasons, advocating for truth, transparency, and accountability in our government agencies. In his case, the NIA.
What can we observe from this sad reality? The corrupt officials are willing to kill just to protect their names and continue what they have been doing, to steal from the funds of the public.
As right-wing conservatives, we advocate for truth, justice, transparency, and accountability. If the government will not have a teeth against murder, corruption, and plunder, the heinous criminals will do their best to kill every person they can kill just to protect their dirty actions.
It is time for biblical justice. Let us put the corrupt officials not just in prison, but in their graves. They betray the nation. And mere imprisonment will not solve the corruption in our system. All we need is the return of the death penalty especially for corrupt public officials.
Finally, if the government will not reimpose the death penalty, more Filipinos will die due to negligence. Typhoons will come in our nation, and thousands will die due to flooding, but the corrupt elite will continue to live like kings and queens using the missing funds that were meant to address natural disasters that our country may face in the future. This is also what makes right-wing conservatives more stronger when it comes to addressing corruption and criminality. We will not baby the corrupt officials. We will treat them as beasts who stole billions from our hard-earned heavily-taxed salaries. And what do we do with beasts? We render to them the death penalty.
We are right-wing. And we support the death penalty. How about you? What should we do to corrupt officials?
