The Pre-Marriage Orientation (PMO) was conducted by accredited members of the Biñan City Pre-Marriage Orientation and Counseling (PMOC) Team. The session was facilitated by Mr. Hilario D. Pantua, Jr.,MPA-PPO III; Ms. Gladys C. Caspe, Agricultural Technologist I/Organic Agriculture Report Office; Ms. Raquel C. San Pascual, RN,City Health Office (CHO) ; Ms. Ma. Fritzie R. Javier, MPA (Asst. Dept. Head of LCR);and Mr. Genaro Reyes, Administrative Aide II;Mr. Marjo C. Gobres,LPT.

During the orientation, the PMOC Team discussed key topics essential to married life, including:

Marriage and Relationships

Responsible Parenthood and Home Management

Family Planning and Maternal, Newborn, Child Health, and Nutrition,HIV/AIDS Awareness

Violence Against Women and Children

Application of Marriage

A total of Sixteen (16) couples intending to marry participated in the PMO session. The attendees were equipped with vital knowledge and guidance emphasizing the significance of marriage, responsible parenthood, and the promotion of a harmonious, healthy, and stable family life.

City Population Office headed by Ms. Jenny Anne B. Sarmiento - Concurrent City Population Officer, actively participated in today’s 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at exactly 9:00AM this morning at Biñan City Football Stadium. This is an exercise designed to help us respond quickly and appropriately during an earthquake.

When earthquake strikes, always remember to DUCK down to the floor, take COVER under sturdy table or desk and HOLD on until the shaking stops.
