Mandala Art Therapy for Mental Wellness of PDL
In a meaningful effort to promote healing, self-expression, and emotional well-being, a Mandala Art Therapy activity was conducted for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) as part of the continuing initiative to care for and support their mental health. The activity was facilitated by JO1 Diana Cortezano, JO1 Mark Christian Manzanilla, and CDT Mirari Bantatua, who dedicated their time and effort in creating a safe and encouraging space for the participants.
The activity highlighted the importance of mental health awareness and the value of providing programs that nurture not only the physical welfare, but also the emotional and psychological well-being of every individual.
More than an art activity, the Mandala Art Therapy session became a symbol of hope, healing, and compassion reminding everyone that even through simple acts of care and understanding, positive change and inner growth can begin.
