Mandala Art Therapy for Mental Wellness of PDL

In a meaningful effort to promote healing, self-expression, and emotional well-being, a Mandala Art Therapy activity was conducted for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) as part of the continuing initiative to care for and support their mental health. The activity was facilitated by JO1 Diana Cortezano, JO1 Mark Christian Manzanilla, and CDT Mirari Bantatua, who dedicated their time and effort in creating a safe and encouraging space for the participants.

The activity highlighted the importance of mental health awareness and the value of providing programs that nurture not only the physical welfare, but also the emotional and psychological well-being of every individual.

More than an art activity, the Mandala Art Therapy session became a symbol of hope, healing, and compassion reminding everyone that even through simple acts of care and understanding, positive change and inner growth can begin.

Orientation on Paralegal Services to Jail Officer 1 Trainees

As part of the ongoing Jail Immersion Program (JIP) for Jail Officer 1 Trainees, an informative orientation on Paralegal Services was successfully conducted by JO2 Lota Bejuna, Assistant Paralegal Officer of this jail unit.

The activity aimed to provide the trainees with a deeper understanding of the vital role of paralegal services within jail management and administration.

During the orientation, the trainees were introduced to the functions, responsibilities, and importance of paralegal operations in ensuring proper legal assistance, documentation, and coordination with concerned agencies and courts. Through this learning activity, the JO1 Trainees gained valuable knowledge and practical insights that will help enhance their competence and readiness in public service and jail operations.

Brigada Eskwela 2026 came alive through the collective effort and unwavering commitment of the personnel of Biñan City Jail Male Dormitory, together with the dedicated PPSA Cadets and JO1 Trainees, as they joined hands in preparing Dela Paz Elementary School Main and West for another meaningful school year.

More than just a clean-up and rehabilitation activity, this initiative reflects the power of collaboration, volunteerism, and shared responsibility in creating a safer, cleaner, and more inspiring learning environment for every student.

Through teamwork, service, and community spirit, every painted wall, cleaned classroom, and restored space became a symbol of hope and support for the next generation.

Growing greens and growing responsibility 🌱

The Eco-Jail Garden continues to bloom through the collective effort and dedication led by JO2 Lota Bejuna, Unit Eco-Jail Implementer, together with CDT Mirari Bantatua and male PDL during the conduct of vegetable planting activity within the facility. Alongside the planting of vegetables, watering of plants and removal of weeds were also carried out to maintain the cleanliness and growth of the garden.

More than just planting crops, the activity reflects the importance of discipline, teamwork, and environmental awareness. Through initiatives like this, the Eco-Jail Garden serves not only as a source of sustainability but also as a reminder that growth begins with proper care and continuous effort.
