La Consolacion College Library and Learning Resource Center

The birth of La Consolacion College - Binan, Laguna Libraries was founded in 1985 by the Augustinian Order, with Sister Edwarda de San Jose, OSA., as the first principal of the institution. The school began with a Pre-school and grades I-IV with 323 pioneer pupils in the school’s initial operation. The first library was housed at the Santa Monica Building wherein the school clinic is located now. The library started with 74 volumes of books donated by the LCC-Manila in coordination by the LCC-Manila Librarian. In 1986 the LCC - Binan, Administration, hired Mrs. Marlene T. Reovoca, as the first LCC-Binan Librarian, and in the same year, the library was transferred on the ground floor of San Augustine building presently occupied by Gr. I-St. Bernadette. She started to acquire print and non-print materials and process technically and mechanically for the proper organization of the library.

Basic Education library which is established in 1985 was located at the 2ndFloor of the Mother Rita Barcelo Building, and a College library established in 1996 was located at the 2nd Floor Mother Consuelo Barcelo Building.
