BILIRAN PMFC NABS WANTED PERSON FOR ILLEGAL GAMBLING

SAN ROQUE, BILIRAN – The Biliran Provincial Mobile Force Company (BPMFC) headed by PMAJ JOVIERICKS DECAPIA, OIC Force Commander in coordination with Culaba MPS, conducted a joint intelligence-driven operation that resulted in the successful apprehension of a wanted individual afternoon of June 3, 2026 at Sitio Baras Brgy. Salvacion, Culaba, Biliran

The arrested individual is a 37-year-old, Filipino, male, with live-in partner, construction worker and resident of, Sitio Baras Brgy. Salvacion, Culaba Biliran. He was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest dated May 12, 2026 for violation of Anti-gambling law Section 1 (A) (1) Presidential Decree No. 1602 as amended, issued by 8th Judicial Region, Municipal Trial Court, Caibiran-Culaba, Biliran under Criminal Case No.1495-2026 with a recommended bail for his provisional liberty fixed at Php 36,000.00.

The arrested person was duly informed of his constitutional rights in a dialect known to him and subsequently was brought to Culaba MPS for documentation and proper disposition.

"As we remain aggressive in our campaign against wanted persons, I encourage the public to continuously support us and provide information regarding the whereabouts of those freely roaming our communities so that we may bring them to justice," said PMAJ DECAPIA”.

This success underscores the unwavering resolve of the Biliran PMFC to protect communities, uphold the rule of law, and sustain public trust through proactive law enforcement initiatives.
