Ang Real Property Tax is a local tax levied on real properties (i.e., lands, buildings and other improvements, and machineries) primarily imposed to finance the funding requirements of local government units (LGUs) and capacitate them towards autonomy and self-governance, as provided for by Republic Act (RA) 7160 or the Local Government Code (LGC) of 1991.

Ayon sa Provincial Ordinance No. 2003-001 provides that Real Property Tax(RPT) together with the additional levy on Real Property Tax on Special Educational Fund(SEF) shall be due and payable on the first day of January, but the same may, however, at the discretion of the taxpayer, be paid without interest/penalty in four (4) equal installments: the first installment, on or before March 31, of each calendar year.

The Deadline of payment of Business Permit, Taxes and Licenses is on January 20, 2024, which falls on a weekend, hence, the Business One Stop Shop of the Local Government of Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya shall accommodate clients beyond 5:00pm on January 19, 2024.

There will be no extension of Deadline of payment of Business Permits, Taxes and Licenses , thus, we encourage our clientele to pay on or before January 19, 2024 to avoid imposition of 25% surcharge and 2% interest per month as provided in the existing Local Tax Ordinance No. 2011-08 Capter VIII. Article A. Section 8A.03 to Section 8A.05.
