𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥-𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝗜𝗡 NCIP 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗜

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples – Region II (NCIP R2), including all its Provincial Offices and Community Service Centers, will implement a compressed four-day work week.

Office Operating Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday to Sunday: Non-working days

This measure is in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, issued by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., directing all government agencies to adopt energy conservation protocols in light of ongoing global energy concerns.

The four-day work week shall take effect 6 April 2026 and will remain in force until further notice or until otherwise revoked.

All partners, stakeholders, and clients are advised to plan and schedule their visits and transactions in accordance with the updated office schedule.

Sa pakikipag-ugnayan ng NCIP, magbibigay ang TESDA ng 5,000 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) scholarship slots para sa mga kwalipikado at karapat-dapat na miyembro ng Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples.

Mabibigyan ng prayoridad ang mga sumusunod:
- Mga edad 18 pataas
- Mga unemployed
- Mga out-of-school youth

Ang programa ay eksklusibong io-offer sa ilalim ng school-based at center-based programs ng TESDA.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples- Nueva Vizcaya informs the public that starting March 9, 2026 (Monday), all Regional, Provincial, and Community Service Centers will follow a four-day on-site workweek (Monday to Thursday) pursuant to Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 114, Series of 2026, entitled “Directing All Government Agencies and Instrumentalities to Strictly Adopt Energy Conservation Protocols,” and through NCIP Memorandum Circular No. 01, Series of 2026.

Office hours from Monday to Thursday will be between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, using a flexible schedule:
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Fridays will be a Work-From-Home (WFH) day for all personnel.
Offices will remain open to serve clients from Monday to Thursday during regular working hours. On Fridays, services, communication, and coordination will continue through official online and mobile platforms.

Clients and stakeholders are strongly encouraged to maximize digital communication channels during WFH days to ensure continuous services.

This measure will remain in effect until further notice and supports the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for government agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations to adopt energy-saving practices amid rising global fuel and electricity costs linked to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

For inquiries or service requests, the public may contact their respective NCIP Provincial Offices or Community Service Centers through official communication channels.

“Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSP): A Foundational Discussion on the Salient Points of Administrative Order No. 1 ”

📣 Calling all IP researchers, IP Rights Advocates, IP Youth, IP Leaders, Academic Institutions, and other other interested stakeholders

This session will provide participants with a foundational understanding of Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSP) and its role in protecting the cultural heritage, identity, and sustainable practices of Indigenous Peoples.

It also aims to prepare participants for the upcoming discussion on the IKSP Guidelines by introducing key concepts and creating a space for questions, reflections, and shared insights on the importance of safeguarding Indigenous knowledge.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) has successfully renewed its Certificate of Registration with the National Privacy Commission on 19 January 2026.
The NCIP remains committed to ensuring that the personal and sensitive information of its clients is kept safe and secure, pursuant to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

A meaningful and heartwarming relaunch of the HAPAG Katutubo Project and Mobile Health Services was held on November 19, 2025, at the Bagabag Municipal Gym in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya, through the strong partnership between the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP).

The event brought together both IP and non-IP coconut farmers from Bagabag, Bayombong, Villaverde, Quezon, and Solano, along with representatives from the DTI, DA, ATI, and various LGUs.

The program was graced by Vice Governor Hon. Eufemia Dacayo, who delivered her message and conveyed the Governor’s message, reaffirming the provincial government’s commitment to empowering Indigenous Peoples and advancing the province’s agricultural sector.

Messages of support and encouragement were also shared by Hon. Nestor Sevillena, Acting Mayor of Bagabag; Mr. Mark Roy Q. Macanlalay, PCA Regional Manager III; and Engr. Shelley Sarol-Calata, NCIP Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Officer. Their remarks highlighted the importance of collaboration and sustained assistance for the growth and well-being of coconut farmers in the province.

After the short program, medical and health services were provided, coconut seedlings were distributed, and a ceremonial tree-planting activity was conducted.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | All offices of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) will be closed on October 31, 2025 (Friday) in observance of Proclamation No. 727, s. 2024, which declares the date a special non-working holiday in commemoration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

Regular office operations will resume on November 3, 2025 (Monday).
