June 13, 2026 || The Baybay City District Jail, under the guidance and supervision of JSSUPT RILL F SONON, DSC, JD, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and the leadership of SJO4 Mark Anthony B Cabojoc, Acting District Jail Warden, actively participated in the Bubble Fun Run held in celebration of the 19th Baybay City Charter Day Anniversary at Baybay City Hall, Baybay City, Leyte.
The event commenced with an energetic Zumba warm-up session, allowing participants to stretch, exercise, and prepare for the run while fostering enthusiasm and camaraderie among the attendees. The activity brought together participants from various government agencies, private organizations, civic groups, and community stakeholders in a vibrant display of unity, camaraderie, and support for the continued progress and development of Baybay City.
Before the start of the event, organizers conducted a comprehensive briefing to ensure the safety and orderly participation of all runners. Participants were oriented on the designated route, event guidelines, and safety reminders while being encouraged to uphold sportsmanship and discipline throughout the activity.
The Bubble Fun Run served as a meaningful platform for promoting health and wellness, encouraging physical fitness, and strengthening partnerships among agencies and stakeholders. Through its participation, the Baybay City District Jail reaffirmed the Bureauโs commitment to fostering a healthy, disciplined, and community-oriented workforce while supporting programs that promote public service, solidarity, and civic engagement.
