September 14, 2026 || Baybay City District Jail - under the guidance and supervision of 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and the leadership of SJO4 Mark Anthony B Cabojoc, Acting District Jail Warden, participated in the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at Baybay City Hall, Baybay City, Leyte.

The event was attended by officials, employees, and personnel from various local government offices and national government agencies, alongside Criminology OJT interns from Franciscan College of Immaculate Conception (FCIC). Together, they fostered solidarity, cooperation, and a shared commitment to public service for the community—reflecting the Bureau’s dedication to patriotism, unity, discipline, and faithful fulfilment of its mandate.

IN PHOTOS || In support of the continuing campaign to promote peace, order, and public awareness, the Baybay City District Jail - under the guidance and supervision of JCSUPT RILL F SONON, DSC, JD, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and the leadership of SJO4 Mark Anthony B Cabojoc, Acting District Jail Warden, conducted an information dissemination activity and distributed leaflets on the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign to the residents of Baybay City, Leyte.

The activity provided a valuable opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of the information dissemination initiatives, gauge the community’s awareness and engagement with the campaign, and identify areas that could be strengthened to improve future advocacy and educational efforts.

Through this initiative, the Baybay City District Jail continues to demonstrate its dedication to promoting peace, ensuring community safety, and strengthening civic awareness among the public.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢 || The Baybay City District Jail, under the guidance of JSSUPT RILL F SONON, DSC, JD, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and the leadership of SJO4 Mark Anthony B Cabojoc, Acting District Jail Warden, extends its deepest condolences to the Cari family, relatives, friends, and all those who mourn the passing of Hon. Carmen L. Cari.

On May 2, 2018, during her leadership as Mayor of Baybay City, a city-owned lot was donated for the construction of the new Baybay City District Jail, located at Brgy. Gaas, Baybay City, Leyte.

Her compassion, dedication, and genuine commitment to public service touched our hearts and made a meaningful difference in the lives of many. This generous act will stand as a lasting testament to her love for Baybay City and her desire to serve its people.

Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of generosity, compassion, and public service will continue to inspire us. Her kindness will always be remembered with deepest gratitude.

Thank you, Ma’am Carmen, for everything. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
