June is National Dengue Awareness Month. With the rainy season rolling in, it’s time to protect our homes and families from diseases. It brings increased risks of Dengue and Leptospirosis, two serious diseases that can affect anyone. Awareness, cleanliness, and prevention are our best defenses.

🦟 𝘿𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
✔️ Eliminate stagnant water where mosquitoes can breed.
✔️ Clean gutters, flower pots, and water containers regularly.
✔️ Use mosquito repellents and wear protective clothing.

🐀 𝙇𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
✔️ Avoid wading in floodwaters or stagnant water whenever possible.
✔️ Wear boots and protective gear when cleaning flooded areas.
✔️ Keep surroundings clean and properly dispose of garbage to prevent rodent infestation.

⚠️ Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as fever, headache, body pain, vomiting, or other signs of illness.

A clean environment is a safer and healthier environment for everyone. Let us all do our part in preventing the spread of Dengue and Leptospirosis by practicing proper sanitation, maintaining cleanliness, and staying informed.

Please be advised that our Inter-Purok Basketball Tournament will officially resume its games. We appreciate everyone’s patience during the pause, and we are excited to see the teams back in action on the court with respect and sportsmanship.

Kindly guide yourselves with the updated schedule of games, please see also the posted schedule inside the gym.

To all participating teams, players, coaches, officials, and supporters:

Please be informed that all scheduled games 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 are hereby 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗟 𝗙𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘.

This decision was made following an unfortunate incident involving a misunderstanding and disagreement among members of the audience during the recently concluded games. In order to preserve the safety, order, and sportsmanship of the tournament, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Tinago will conduct a special meeting to address the matter and discuss appropriate measures moving forward.

We kindly ask for everyone's cooperation, understanding, and respect as we work to resolve this issue and ensure that the tournament remains a positive and enjoyable event for all participants and spectators.

The new game schedule will be announced after the meeting and once the situation has been properly addressed.

Let us continue to uphold the values of sportsmanship, unity, respect, and community harmony.
