Bringing Health Services Closer to Our Beloved Senior Citizens! 💙👵👴

The City Health Office of Bayawan proudly joined the 2026 Elderly Filipino Week Commemoration conducted by the Bayawan City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) on October 13, 2026 at the NORSU Sports Arena, reaffirming its commitment to promoting healthy and active aging.

Beyond supporting this meaningful celebration, the CHO team took the opportunity to respond to the health-seeking needs of our elderly by providing medical consultation, nursing and nutrition services, vital signs monitoring, Pneumococcal (Pneumo 23) vaccination, and health check-ups. Participants also enjoyed an energizing Zumba session, while nutrition education materials, particularly "Pinggang Pinoy For Elderly" brochures were distributed to reinforce the importance of proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and regular physical activity in maintaining wellness during the golden years.

The gathering served as a valuable platform not only to celebrate the invaluable contributions of our senior citizens but also to empower them with health information and services that support healthier, longer, and more fulfilling lives.

Together, let us continue to honor and care for our elderly—because every life, at every age, truly matters. 💙💚
