2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ALBA-CAR Convention🌸
The Association of Local Budget Administrators–Cordillera Administrative Region (ALBA-CAR), hosted by Mountain Province, successfully held its Annual Convention at The Sagada Hotel on January 28–30, 2026.
With the theme “Stronger Together: Fostering Integrity, Resilience, and Mental Wellness among Public Finance Practitioners,” the convention highlighted that ethical governance and sound public financial management go beyond technical competence. It emphasized the importance of well-being, integrity, and collective support among practitioners in building transparent, accountable, and sustainable public service. By nurturing a supportive environment, institutions can develop professionals who are principled, mentally healthy, and resilient.
The three-day convention featured five learning sessions:

🟣Session 3: DBM Updates and Public Financial Management Matters
Procurement Planning and Updated PPMP Form
🟣Session 4: Building Team Synergy and Collaboration
🟣Session 5: Economic Development Benchmarking within the Municipality of Sagada
Another highlight of the event was the Social Night, titled “Moves and Melodies - A Night to Remember,” which fostered camaraderie and strengthened bonds among participants through music, dance, and shared celebration.
