The personnel of Bauko Municipal Police Station, led by Acting Chief of Police, PCPT Carlito S. Ateneo, recently participated in an important orientation session for school heads of District 1 Bauko,PTA and other stakeholders. This orientation focused on the critical topic of safety and security in schools, particularly in relation to the upcoming National Simultaneous Safety Drill and the implementation guidelines for its conduct.

The session emphasized the necessity of a robust school contingency plan to address potential incidents involving active shooters. By equipping school leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to respond effectively, we aim to foster a safer learning environment for our students and staff.

Furthermore, this initiative serves as a foundational framework for conducting age-appropriate, trauma-informed safety drills. It is essential that our schools not only prepare for emergencies but also do so in a manner that considers the emotional and psychological well-being of our students.

TRAFFIC ASSISTANCE IN SINKING AREA, POBLACION, BAUKO

On September 2, 2026, starting at 6:30 AM up to the present, personnel of the Bauko Municipal Police Station, together with DPWH personnel, provided traffic assistance in the sinking area of Poblacion, Bauko.

This initiative aims to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and enhance the safety of all road users passing through the affected area.

We kindly urge the public to exercise patience and caution while traversing the area. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
