🌸 Celebrating National Prevention Month with AYWANAN: A Youth with Affectionate, Nurturing, and Near Family – Strengthening Bonds, Saving Lives 🌸
Otucan Norte Elementary School stands united in fostering love, care, and strong family ties as we join the nation in observing National Prevention Month. This morning, we conducted AYWANAN, an activity that reminds us all of the life-saving power of connection, understanding, and compassion within the family. 💞
We were truly blessed with the presence of passionate health advocates from the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – Doc Karen N. Balanza, Nurse Kareen Faith B. Isican, and Nurse Ryan A. Cajigan. Their dedication and heartfelt sharing gave our community valuable wisdom and hope. 🙏✨
🌿 For the parents, Doc Balanza emphasized how the spiritual, sociological, biological, and psychological involvement of families can serve as powerful shields against the challenges our children face. By being present, nurturing, and attentive, parents can guide their children through struggles with anxiety, depression, and other emotional battles, preventing them from turning into silent cries for help. 💡💖
🌈 For the pupils, interactive lectures and discussions focused on recognizing different emotions, expressing feelings in healthy ways, and the importance of knowing who they can trust and talk to when they feel overwhelmed. They were also encouraged to value simple family activities—moments that create lasting bonds and safe spaces where love is felt. 🫂✨
The day’s activities served as a strong reminder that prevention begins at home. When families are strengthened, children grow up feeling supported, valued, and deeply connected. Together, we can create a community where no child feels alone, where every young soul knows that there is always someone ready to listen, to guide, and to love them. 🌟
💞 Otucan Norte Elementary School believes that strong family ties save lives, and through programs like AYWANAN, we commit to nurturing the hearts and minds of our children. Let us continue to stand together in building safer, happier, and healthier communities for our youth.
