Sa gitna ng patuloy na pag-ulan at sunod-sunod na bagyo, hygiene at kalusugan ng ating kabataan ay dapat laging prayoridad. 🫧🧼

Kaya naman, inaanyayahan ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Bawanta ang lahat ng kabataan ng ating barangay na makiisa sa ating Hygiene Kits Distribution!🎒✨

Bilang tugon sa pangangailangan ng ating kabataan ngayong patuloy ang pag-ulan, 120 Hygiene Kits ang aming ipamamahagi para sa mga kabataan ng Barangay Bawanta. 💙

Ang pamimigay ay hanggang mapuno ang 120 slots/numbers sa listahan. Kaya kung nais makakuha ng Hygiene Kit, maagang pumunta at magpalista!📝

With the theme "Smart Budgeting, Correct Reporting: The Key to Responsive SK Governance," the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Bawanta proudly participated in the recently concluded SK Reports and Budget Preparation Workshop, represented by our SK Chairperson Hon. Caster Troy B. Iblogan, SK Treasurer Ms. Marinelle Joy D. Imus, and Budget Monitoring Officer Hon. Justine A. Baladad.

This workshop served as an important opportunity to strengthen our knowledge and skills in financial planning, budget preparation, and accurate reporting to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuity in youth governance.

As part of the workshop, the SK Bawanta team successfully prepared and finalized the 2027 Annual Budget, which will serve as a ready guide for the next set of elected SK Officials following this year's elections. In addition, the team accomplished and updated several essential SK documents, including:

📌 Amendment of the CBYDP (2027–2029)
📌 2027 Annual Budget
📌 SK Order Inventory
📌 2025 COA Reports
📌 Backup File of the SangKApp Software for the 2027 Budget

These accomplishments reflect our commitment to ensuring a smooth transition of leadership and providing the incoming SK officials with complete, organized, and compliant records for the continued implementation of programs and services for the youth.

The SK Bawanta remains steadfast in its mission to uphold good governance through responsible budgeting, accurate reporting, and sustainable planning for the benefit of every Kabataang Bawanta.

Together, we build a stronger foundation for the next generation of youth leaders.

LOOK: SPORTS FEST & 1ST SEMESTER KK ASSEMBLY 2026 ✨🏆

Last May 8, 2026, the youth of Barangay Bawanta came together for a day filled with faith, fun, sportsmanship, and meaningful participation during the Sports Fest and 1st Semester Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Assembly.

The day started with a Holy Mass facilitated by the Barangay Council at St. Michael the Archangel Church, reminding us of the importance of unity, gratitude, and service as we continue to build a stronger community.

Following the celebration of the Mass, the youth actively participated in the KK Assembly where they were given the opportunity to raise their questions, share suggestions, and voice their concerns regarding programs and activities for the youth sector. The assembly served as a valuable platform for open communication and collaborative decision-making.

The excitement continued with the Sports Fest, where participants showcased teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship through various games and competitions. The fun-filled activities, exciting games, and prizes prepared for the participants encouraged more youth to attend, engage, and enjoy the event.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Bawanta extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Council, volunteers, participants, and everyone who contributed to the success of this event. Your support and active participation continue to inspire us to create more meaningful and enjoyable activities for the youth.

Hello Kabataang Bawanta, Be informed that the launching of the Manang B**g Lee Inter-District Basketball Clinic will be held on May 15, 2026 (Friday), 8:30 AM at the BNCS Gymnasium. 🏀

Sa lahat po ng kabataan ng Brgy. Bawanta for ages 16 years old and below, maaari po kayong magpalista sa sino mang SK Official sa ating barangay. Make sure to inform us prior to the date of the basketball clinic for you to be registered.

‼️OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

We regret to inform everyone that the Bawanta Basketball Summer League Opening scheduled for April 5, 2026 has been cancelled due to the current situation. 💔

This decision was not made lightly, as we recognize the time, effort, and preparation invested by our players, teams, organizers, and supporters. We understand the anticipation surrounding this event and sincerely appreciate the continued enthusiasm and support from the community.

While the league will not proceed as planned, we remain hopeful for the opportunity to resume the league at a more appropriate time. Further updates will be provided once conditions allow.

We encourage everyone to stay safe and continue supporting the spirit of sportsmanship within our community.
