The Bureau of Fire Protection Region VII, headed by 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, in collaboration with the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Bohol Province, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, Provincial Fire Marshal, conducted a Fire Exit Drill at the Bohol Provincial Capitol, facilitated by personnel from the Bohol Provincial Fire Office and Tagbilaran City Fire Station.

The activity aimed to enhance emergency preparedness, familiarize personnel with designated evacuation routes, and reinforce proper evacuation procedures in the event of a fire. It also emphasized the importance of prompt response, situational awareness, and coordinated action to ensure the safety of employees and other building occupants.

Through initiatives such as this, the BFP continues to strengthen fire safety awareness and emergency preparedness in government facilities, fostering a culture of readiness and reinforcing collective efforts to protect lives and property.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region VII, headed by 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, in collaboration with the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Bohol Province, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, Provincial Fire Marshal, participated in an engagement with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), with 𝐒𝐅𝐎2 Lord H Pacheco, Chief of the Fire Safety Enforcement Section (FSES), OPFM–Bohol, serving as the Resource Speaker.

The engagement focused on the Fire Safety Inspection Certificate (FSIC), emphasizing its requirements, application procedures, and importance in ensuring compliance with established fire safety regulations.

The discussion also provided an opportunity to clarify FSIC-related requirements, address concerns, and enhance stakeholders' understanding of their responsibilities in maintaining fire-safe workplaces and establishments.

Through continued inter-agency collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the BFP R7–OPFM Bohol remains committed to promoting fire safety awareness, strengthening regulatory compliance, and protecting lives and property throughout the province.

In line with the guidance of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director of BFP Region VII, the BFP R7 – Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal (OPFM) Bohol Province, led by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, Provincial Fire Marshal, together with the personnel of Baclayon Fire Station, conducted a Clean-Up Drive at Poblacion, Baclayon, Bohol, in support of the Bureau of Fire Protection’s commitment to environmental protection and preservation.

This initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, maintain the cleanliness, and encourage collective responsibility in protecting our ecosystem. Through these efforts, the BFP continues to uphold its vital mission of safeguarding not only lives and properties but also the environment.

The BFP R7– Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, Bohol Province, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, Provincial Fire Marshal, together with SFO4 Manuel A Babera, Chief, Operations Branch, conducted an online meeting via Zoom on the implementation of the BFP Region VII Contingency Plan for the El Niño Phenomenon 2026–2027.

The meeting was attended by the City/Municipal Fire Marshals, Officers-in-Charge (OICs), and the Chief of the Operations Section to discuss preparedness measures, operational coordination, and response strategies in addressing the potential impacts of El Niño.

The initiative aims to strengthen the Bureau’s readiness and ensure the continuous delivery of effective fire protection and emergency services to the communities of Bohol.

In line with the guidance of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director of BFP Region VII, the BFP R7 – Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, Bohol Province, led by FSUPT RAUL G BUSTALIÑO, JD, DPA,together with OPFM personnel and the Officer-in-Charge and personnel of the 3rd District, participated in a mangrove planting activity at Barangay Boyoan, Candijay, Bohol.

The activity forms part of the BFPR7 Environmental Protection Program: “Sanctuary for Generation,” which underscores the Bureau’s commitment to environmental conservation, coastal protection, and the preservation of natural resources for future generations.

Through this initiative, BFP personnel reaffirm their role not only in protecting lives and property but also in safeguarding the environment and promoting sustainable, resilient communities.

The BFP R7 – Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, Bohol Province, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, Provincial Fire Marshal, formalize its partnership with the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center (GCGMMC) through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Healthy Workplace Partnership.

This collaboration aims to promote workplace health, strengthen health education and awareness, support disease prevention, and enhance the overall well-being of BFP personnel.

Through this partnership, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to fostering a healthier workplace and supporting the welfare of those dedicated to serving and protecting the community.

The visit also underscored the importance of teamwork, coordination, and commitment among personnel in fulfilling the Bureau’s mission to protect lives and property and promote community safety.

The BFP R7 – Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, Bohol Province, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, Provincial Fire Marshal, conducted a meeting with the evaluators for a briefing and brainstorming session in preparation for the upcoming Simulated Fire Drill Exercise at the Bohol Provincial Capitol.

The meeting focused on aligning evaluation criteria, discussing key considerations, and strengthening coordination among evaluators to ensure the effective conduct of the exercise.

This initiative aims to assess emergency preparedness, improve response coordination, and promote fire safety awareness among Capitol personnel.
