Good day, everyone!

Starting April 6, 2026, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Catanduanes is officially implementing a NEW APPOINTMENT SYSTEM for requesting civil registry documents such as Birth, Marriage, and Death Certificates.

🔔 NO APPOINTMENT = NO ENTRY
Walk-in applicants will no longer be accommodated in PSA outlets.

📌 HOW TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT (PSA):
1️⃣ Visit the official PSA appointment website:
👉 https://appointment.psa.gov.ph
2️⃣ Choose the type of document you need (Birth, Marriage, Death, or CENOMAR)
3️⃣ Fill out the required personal information accurately
4️⃣ Review your details and confirm your appointment
5️⃣ Save or screenshot your Appointment Slip

📌 ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT:
✔️ Arrive at least 30 minutes before your schedule
✔️ Present your appointment slip (printed or digital)
✔️ Bring at least one valid ID

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
• Those who have National ID still need to book an appointment
• Booking an appointment online is FREE
• Confirmed appointment is non-transferable
• The name of the client transacting should reflect on the slip.

📌 ALTERNATIVE OPTION: BREQS (Batch Request Query System)
For those who may have difficulty accessing the online system, you may request PSA documents through the BREQS available at any BREQS-accredited partner, including the Local Civil Registrar’s Office, Bato, Catanduanes.

📥 Cut-off of Requests: Every Wednesday, 10:00 AM
📤 Release of Documents: Every Monday (following week)

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | LGU–BATO WORK SCHEDULE UPDATE

Please be informed that LGU–Bato will implement a new work schedule effective immediately:

🕖 Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
🚫 Friday: No office work/offices closed

This adjustment is made pursuant to the memorandum No. 114, s. 2026 from the Office of the President, regarding fuel conservation measures in light of the ongoing global conflict affecting oil supply. The revised schedule aims to help reduce fuel consumption while ensuring the continued delivery of government services to the public.

In celebration of the 36th Civil Registration Month (CRM) with the theme: “Navigating the Future, Together: Advancing CRVS in Shaping the Global and Regional Ecosystem”. The Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) Bato will be conducting a FREE issuance of civil registry certifications tomorrow, February 27, at Bato, Catanduanes.

This activity aims to make civil registration services more accessible to our constituents and to promote the importance of complete and accurate civil registry records.

📌 Documents covered: Birth, Marriage, and Death certificates registered at LCRO-Bato

We started the day with an energizing Zumba session, followed by updates on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics. In the afternoon, the excitement continued with a Quiz Bee and team-building games filled with laughter and teamwork.

February is not only the Month of Love but also the Civil Registration Month, as declared under Proclamation No. 682 (s. 1991). In line with this, the Municipality of Bato conducted a motorcade kick-off activity to officially open the 36th Civil Registration Month (CRM) with the theme "Navigating the Future, Together: Advancing CRVS in Shaping the Global and Regional Data Ecosystem”

This activity was made possible through the collaboration of various municipal departments and national government agencies, aiming to raise public awareness on the importance of civil registration and encourage active participation throughout the month.
