𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗚 “𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡” (𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗚-𝗪𝗢𝗡𝗚) 𝗟𝗔𝗟𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡

Lumalakas pa ang Bagyong Uwan (Fung-Wong) habang patuloy na lumalapit sa Bicol Region, ayon sa pinakahuling ulat ng DOST-PAGASA dakong alas-2:00 ng madaling araw ngayong Nobyembre 9, 2025.

Huling namataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa layong 370 kilometro silangan ng Virac, Catanduanes. Taglay nito ang lakas ng hanging umaabot sa 165 kilometro bawat oras at pagbugsong hanggang 205 kilometro bawat oras. Kumikilos ito pa-kanluran hilagang-kanluran sa bilis na 35 kilometro bawat oras.

Ipinaiiral na ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 4 sa Catanduanes, silangang bahagi ng Camarines Sur, timog-silangang Camarines Norte, at silangang Albay dahil sa inaasahang typhoon-force winds na may matinding banta sa buhay at ari-arian.

Signal No. 3 naman ang nakataas sa Aurora, Quezon (kabilang ang Polillo Islands), Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, silangang Batangas, silangang Cavite, natitirang bahagi ng Camarines Norte at Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Ticao at Burias Islands, at Northern Samar. Samantala, nasa Signal No. 2 ang malaking bahagi ng Luzon at Visayas, kabilang ang Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Masbate, Samar, at Biliran.

Patuloy namang binabalaan ang mga baybaying lugar ng Cagayan, Isabela, Ilocos, Pangasinan, Aurora, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, at Dinagat Islands laban sa posibleng storm surge na maaaring umabot o lumampas sa tatlong metro. Lubhang mapanganib ang paglalayag sa lahat ng uri ng sasakyang pandagat.

Batay sa forecast track, inaasahang daraan ang mata ng bagyo malapit sa Catanduanes ngayong umaga at magla-landfall sa Aurora ngayong gabi o madaling araw ng Lunes. Posible rin ang direktang pagtama sa Catanduanes dahil sa patuloy na paglapit nito.

Inaasahang aabot sa super typhoon category si Uwan ngayong araw bago ito tuluyang tumama sa kalupaan. Mananatili itong typhoon habang tatawid sa Northern Luzon at lalabas ng West Philippine Sea sa Lunes.

Kahit malayo sa sentro, asahan ang malalakas na ulan, matitinding hangin, at mapanganib na storm surge sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon, Visayas, at ilang bahagi ng Mindanao.

Pinapayuhan ang publiko at mga lokal na pamahalaan na maging alerto at maghanda laban sa posibleng pagbaha, landslide, at pinsala dulot ng malakas na hangin. Patuloy na sundin ang mga abiso mula sa inyong mga LGU at sa DOST-PAGASA.

Ang susunod na weather bulletin ay ilalabas alas-5:00 ng umaga ngayong Nobyembre 9.

CALLING AMATEUR AND CIVIC RADIO GROUPS: The National Telecommunications Commission Bicol
calls on all amateur radio groups and civic action groups as volunteers for the activation of Task Force Bayanihan in preparation for tropical cyclone Uwan.

The NTC requests this group to assist the OCD, RDRRMC and LGUs in providing updates and status reports on their respective locations.

UWAN FURTHER INTENSIFIES WHILE MOVING WEST NORTHWESTWARD OVER THE SEA EAST OF EASTERN VISAYAS.

Location of Center (4:00 AM):
The center of Typhoon UWAN was estimated based on all available data at 985 km East of Eastern Visayas (12.4°N, 133.7°E)

Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 160 km/h, and central pressure of 965 hPa

Present Movement:
West northwestward at 25 km/h

Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:
Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to 780 km from the center

TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
• It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall, severe winds, and storm surge may still be experienced in localities outside the landfall point and the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.

• UWAN is forecast to move west northwestward until Monday (10 November) before turning generally north northwestward by Tuesday (11 November). On the track forecast, the center of UWAN may make landfall over the southern portion of Isabela or the northern portion of Aurora tomorrow (09 November) late evening or Monday early morning. After landfall, UWAN will traverse the mountainous terrain of Northern Luzon and emerge over the West Philippine Sea on Monday morning or afternoon.

• UWAN is forecast to rapidly intensify and may reach super typhoon category tonight or tomorrow morning. It may also make landfall at or near its peak lifetime intensity. The interaction with the terrain will cause UWAN to weaken, but it is expected to remain as a typhoon throughout its passage over Northern Luzon and West Philippine Sea.

The next tropical cyclone bulletin will be issued at 11:00 AM today.

may reach tropical storm category within the next 12 hours. Further intensification into a severe tropical storm remains less likely but is not ruled out.

The center of Tropical Depression was estimated based on all available data at 880 km east of extreme northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h.

Sa Araw ng Kagitingan, ipinagdiriwang natin ang mga bayaning nagbigay ng kanilang buhay upang ipaglaban ang ating kalayaan.

Ang kanilang tapang at sakripisyo ay nagsilbing ilaw sa madilim na landas ng ating kasaysayan. Hindi matitinag ang kanilang diwa, at sa bawat hakbang na ating tinatahak ngayon, sila ang ating gabay. Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang kabayanihan upang patuloy natin ipaglaban ang mga prinsipyong tinataguyod nila—pag-ibig sa bayan, pagkakapwa-tao, at katarungan.
