Kasama ang ibaโ€™t ibang tanggapan ng pamahalaang bayan, sinuri ng Joint Inspection Team ang pagsunod ng mga negosyo sa mga umiiral na batas, ordinansa, at pamantayan kaugnay ng business permits, structural safety, zoning compliance, sanitation, environmental regulations, at fire safety standards.

Nag-isyu ng Notice of Closure ang Office of the Mayor, sa pamamagitan ng Business Permits and Licensing Division (BPLD), laban sa ilang establisimyento sa bayan. Ang pangunahing dahilan ng pagpapasara ay ang hindi pag-comply sa Business Permit, bunsod ng kawalan ng mga supporting clearances na itinakda ng batas.

Sa isinagawang operasyon, binigyang-diin ng BPLD na hindi makakakuha ng legal na pahintulot ang isang negosyo kung kulang ang mga mahahalagang dokumento mula sa Municipal Engineering Office (MEO) at Zoning Administrator. Ang mga ito ay hindi lamang pormalidad, kundi mga kritikal na basehan ng operasyon:

โœ… Building Permit at Occupancy Permit โ€“ Mula sa Office of the Building Official (OBO), na nagpapatunay na ang gusali ay ligtas at sumusunod sa National Building Code.

Ipinaliwanag ng BPLD na ang mga dokumentong ito mula sa MEO at Zoning ay mga mandatory requirements bago pa man ma-isyu ang isang Mayorโ€™s Permit. Ang pagbalewala sa mga ito ay nangangahulugan na ang negosyo ay hindi sumailalim sa tamang pagsusuri ng seguridad at kaayusan. Dahil dito, nararapat lamang na ipatigil ang operasyon para sa proteksyon ng publiko.

The three-day, 24-hour training equipped selected personnel with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to operate the eLGU systemโ€”an integrated digital platform designed to simplify, speed up, and improve the processing of building and occupancy permits.

Maaaring dahil sa mga sumusunod:
1.) Nagtayo o nag-ayos ng gusaling walang Building Permit.
2.) Gumamit ng lupa o gusali na hindi ayon sa Zoning classification.
3.) Nagpatuloy sa konstruksyon kahit walang kaukulang clearance o permit.
4.) Lumabag sa setback, height limit, o ibang building/zoning regulations.

1.) Basahin at unawain ang nakasaad sa Notice.
2.) Makipag-ugnayan agad sa Zoning Office o Office of the Building Official sa loob ng itinakdang araw.
3.) Mag-sumite ng paliwanag (written explanation) at kumpletuhin ang mga kinakailangang permit/clearance.
4.) Sundin ang payo ng opisina upang maiwasan ang multa, pagpapahinto ng proyekto, o demolisyon.
