The Municipality of Bataraza, under the leadership of Hon. Al-Shariff W. Ibba, successfully concluded its 3-Day Training Workshop on the Revision of the Organizational Structure and Staffing Pattern (OSSP), held on June 16–18, 2026, at Hue Hotels and Resorts, Puerto Princesa City.

The activity brought together department heads, office representatives, and key personnel to strengthen their understanding of the policies, guidelines, and processes involved in reviewing and revising the LGU's organizational structure and staffing pattern. Through insightful discussions, workshops, and collaborative exercises, participants enhanced their capacity to align the municipal workforce with the evolving needs and priorities of the local government.

This initiative reflects the Municipality's commitment to promoting organizational efficiency, strengthening human resource management systems, and ensuring responsive and effective public service delivery.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our resource speakers, CSC FO Palawan Director Marietta Santos, DILG Palawan Provincial Director Juanito Olave Jr., and Provincial HRMO Representative Maam Josephine Amada, partner training facilitator PLIAO Inc. led by Ms. Grace Borja, and participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions throughout the workshop.

Together, we continue to build a stronger, more responsive, and future-ready Municipality of Bataraza.

The Local Government Unit of Bataraza informs the public that June 23, 2026 (Tuesday) is a Special Non-Working Public Holiday throughout the Province of Palawan pursuant to Republic Act No. 9748, in commemoration of the Foundation of the Civil Government of Palawan.

Regular office operations at the Municipal Government of Bataraza will resume on the next working day.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥-𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗘!

The Municipal Government of Bataraza, under the leadership of Hon. Al-Shariff W. Ibba, through the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) and the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), in collaboration with the Bataraza Municipal Employees Association (BAMEA), successfully conducted the Gender Sensitivity Training for LGU Bataraza Employees on June 2–3, 2026 at the Conference Room, New Municipal Hall of Bataraza.

The two-day training enhanced participants’ awareness and understanding of Gender and Development (GAD), gender responsiveness, inclusivity, and their vital role in promoting gender-fair and equitable public service. Through engaging discussions, workshops, and interactive activities, participants gained valuable insights on integrating GAD principles into workplace practices and service delivery.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our resource speaker, Ms. Diana Jane O. Badua, RPm, RPsy, for sharing her expertise and valuable insights that enriched the learning experience of all participants.

We would also like to acknowledge and express our appreciation to Hon. Abdulganih M. Ibba for gracing the activity and delivering a message of support on behalf of our Hon. Municipal Mayor. His presence highlighted the Municipality’s continued commitment to advancing gender-responsive governance and fostering an inclusive workplace.
