🏀🏐 IT’S A WRAP! 🏐🏀

The SK League 2026 Basketball and Volleyball Tournament has officially come to an end.

What began as a competition became a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie among the youth of our barangay. Throughout the tournament, we witnessed determination, resilience, and unforgettable moments both on and off the court.

To all participating teams, players, coaches, officials, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters—thank you for being part of this successful event. Your time, effort, and dedication made this tournament possible.

Congratulations to all the winners and awardees, and to every athlete who proudly represented their team. Beyond the trophies and medals, the true victory lies in the friendships formed, lessons learned, and memories created along the way.

As the final whistle blows and the lights dim on the court, we look back with gratitude and pride for what we have accomplished together.

𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak strongly condemns the threatening, disrespectful, and malicious comments made by the individual behind the social media account previously known as 𝗝𝗔𝗬𝗝𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗢 and now operating under the name 𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢 𝗔𝗬𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗢 𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘. These actions, which include direct threats against SK Officials and personal attacks directed toward one of our members through various online comments, are completely unacceptable and have no place in a respectful and responsible community.

We remain committed to serving the youth and the people of Barangay Tinga Labak with integrity, professionalism, and respect. While we welcome constructive criticism and healthy discussions, we will not tolerate threats, harassment, intimidation, or any form of personal attacks against our officials and volunteers.

In response to these incidents, we have already filed the appropriate case and have formally referred the matter to the proper authorities. An ongoing investigation is currently being conducted to identify and hold accountable the individual responsible for these actions. We are fully cooperating with the authorities and are prepared to pursue all available legal remedies to ensure that justice is served.

We urge everyone to practice responsible use of social media and to engage in discussions with respect and civility. Let this serve as a reminder that online actions have real consequences, and no one is above accountability.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak remains steadfast in its mission to serve the youth despite these challenges. We will continue to uphold the values of respect, accountability, and community service while taking the necessary steps to protect our officials, volunteers, and the integrity of our organization.

Since the beginning of our term, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak has remained committed to supporting the educational journey of our youth. We firmly believe that education is one of the most powerful tools in building a brighter future, which is why initiatives that promote learning and academic success continue to be among our priorities.

Through Project SKolahero, we aim to provide assistance and encouragement to deserving young individuals who continue to strive for their dreams. This program serves as a reminder that the SK is not only dedicated to organizing activities but also to creating opportunities that help empower and uplift the youth of our barangay.

The beneficiaries of this program are qualified youth who actively participate in community and youth activities and have successfully complied with the necessary requirements. More than a form of assistance, this project is an investment in the future leaders, professionals, and changemakers of Tinga Labak.

As we continue our service, expect more programs and initiatives that promote education, youth development, and community involvement. Together, let us build a generation that is empowered, inspired, and ready to make a difference.

📚✨ The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak proudly took part in Project SIKAP, a meaningful initiative facilitated by Tinga Sorosoro Integrated School last June 4, 2026.

As part of the program, SK officials led engaging reading activities and interactive learning sessions with the students, encouraging them to develop a love for reading, strengthen their literacy skills, and build confidence in expressing themselves. Through this simple yet impactful activity, we continue to support educational development and inspire our young learners to strive for a brighter future.

This is only one of the many initiatives that the Sangguniang Kabataan has undertaken—and will continue to undertake—for the benefit of the youth of Barangay Tinga Labak. We remain committed to creating programs and opportunities that promote learning, leadership, community involvement, and personal growth among our kabataan.

Then on June 13, 2026, the excitement continues as teams compete in the Battle for Third Place and the Championship Match to determine who will reign supreme this season. 🏆

SK LEAGUE 2026 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

The excitement reaches its peak this June 6, 2026, as the SK League 2026 Basketball Tournament presents the highly anticipated Battle for Third Place and Championship Games for both the Junior and Senior Divisions. Following the Semi-Finals, the losing teams will compete for the third-place finish, while the winning teams will face off in the championship match for the ultimate title.

Games will officially start at 5:00 PM, so gather your family, friends, and supporters as we witness an evening filled with determination, sportsmanship, and thrilling basketball action. Following the conclusion of the games, an Awarding Ceremony will be held to recognize and celebrate the outstanding teams and athletes who showcased excellence throughout the tournament.

Join us as our young athletes give their all on the court, showcasing their hard work, determination, and passion for the game. Let’s come together to support our teams and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and healthy competition within our community.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: ON TOURNAMENT INTEGRITY AND ELIGIBILITY VALIDATION FOR VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Magandang araw sa lahat ng manlalaro, taga-suporta, at mga tagasubaybay ng SK League 2026.

Nais po naming maglabas ng opisyal na pahayag upang linawin ang aming kasalukuyang desisyon tungkol sa liga. Ang aming hakbang ay hindi tungkol sa isang simpleng protest sa nakalipas na laro na lumampas sa deadline. Ang tunay na concern ay ang eligibility at integridad ng lineup na ginagamit sa kabuuan ng buong torneo.

Upang maiwasan ang maling haka-haka, narito po ang aming panig:

Tungkol sa Rules:
Ang panuntunang “no protest after round robin” ay ginawa para sa mga game results disputes o mga technicalities sa loob ng court. Hindi po nito sakop ang mga seryosong kaso ng posibleng misrepresentation o paglalaro ng mga ineligible players.

Bakit ito mahalaga?
Kung mapapatunayang may mga manlalaro na hindi kwalipikado ayon sa itinakdang residency at iba pang ligal na requirements, ang isyung ito ay isang continuing violation. Hangga't patuloy silang naglalaro nang labag sa batas ng liga, may direkta at patuloy itong epekto sa buong standings ng lahat ng koponan, at hindi lamang sa isang laro.

Kaya naman, pormal naming hinihiling sa Technical Committee ang isang malalimang Eligibility Validation—hindi bilang late protest, kundi bilang pagtataguyod ng patas na laban, hustisya, at integridad para sa buong SK League 2026.

Naniniwala kami na ang tunay na diwa ng sportsmanship ay nagsisimula sa pagsunod sa patakaran.
