Batangas Filipino Chinese Volunteer Fire Brigade, INC. bid farewell to a soul who left this world infinitely better, as we finally lay to rest our beloved Fire Chief Rolando Uy (黄永宁).👨🚒
In honor of his extraordinary life of service, the entire volunteer force stood in unity to render a water salute—our highest tribute to a leader who dedicated almost 50 years of his life to the fire service, including 30 years of unwavering leadership as Fire Chief.
He was more than a commander; he was a mentor, a protector, and a pillar of strength for generations of volunteers. His courage in the face of danger, his discipline, and his selfless devotion to the community will forever remain etched in our hearts and in the legacy of our brigade.
Today, as the sirens fall silent and the water streams fade, we bid farewell with profound gratitude and deep respect.
You have served with honor. You have led with heart. You will never be forgotten.
