FYI to our Newly Elected Barangay Officials ☺️

Ipinagbibigay alam po sa lahat ng mga bagong proklamang Punong Barangay at Barangay Kagawad na nagnanais na manumpa sa ating Punong Bayan na tayo ay magkakaroon ng “mass oath taking” o “panglahatang panunumpa” sa Nobyembre 6, 2023 (Lunes); ika-7 ng umaga na gaganapin sa FPJ Arena, Brgy. Dagatan, San Jose, Batangas.

Ang lahat din po ng manunumpa ay pinakiki-usapan na ang isuot na damit ay barong/filipiniana o puting polo/blouse para sa picture taking at dalhin ang kopya ng inyong Certificate of Canvass and Proclamation mula sa COMELEC.

Ang iskedyul naman po ng oath-taking ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan ay gaganapin sa Nobyembre 13, 2023.

𝙰𝚜𝚜𝚞𝚖𝚙𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝙾𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙸𝚗𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚂𝙺 𝙾𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚕𝚜

In light of the recent Supreme Court decision in GR Nos. 263590 and 263673, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) clarified that once winning candidates have been duly proclaimed and have taken their oath of office, they shall immediately and effectively assume office. The NYC emphasized that in the case of successful Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) candidates, Section 27 of RA No. 10742, as amended, imposes an additional requirement before the winning candidate can assume office, specifically, that they must undergo and successfully complete a Mandatory Training to be administered by the NYC and the DILG. Any SK official, whether elected or appointed, must undergo the mandatory training program before he or she can assume office.
Therefore, in addition to the proclamation and oath-taking, winning SK officials are obligated to fulfill the Mandatory Training requirement, which shall be evidenced by the issuance of a Certificate of Training Completion. Only upon the acquisition of this certificate will they be eligible to assume their respective offices immediately.

In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 2022-033 issued by the Department of Interior and Local Government, all Elected Sangguniang Kabataan Officials in the Municipality of San Jose, Batangas will be conducting a youth profiling (Katipunan ng Kabataan Profiling) as prescribed by Sec 8 of the Rules and Regulations Implementing the Republic Act No. 10742 or Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015. The said activity aims to identify all youth ages 15-30 years old and primary details that would serve as basis in crafting youth related programs and policies.

Note: Pursuant to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A 10173), all data that will be gathered shall be strictly for the National Youth Commission's use only.

Basahin po natin ng mabuti at alalahanin ang mga panuntunan sa loob ng covered court ayon sa napagkasunduan ng local IATF ng bayan ng San Jose. Mangyari lamang po na sundin natin ito para sa kaligtasan ng bawat isa.
