The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office I, in partnership with the 2nd District Congressional Office, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), held the Graduation Ceremony for beneficiaries who successfully completed the training leading to Security Services NC II on September 4, 2026, at Robinsons Place Ilocos, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte.
Seven (7) graduates from the City of Batac successfully completed the training, which covered various areas related to security services and workplace readiness. The 10-day training included Basic Security Services in partnership with TESDA, Occupational Safety and Health and other learning sessions in partnership with DOLE and PDEA, Basic Marksmanship Training, and an actual firing activity held in San Nicolas. The graduates are also set to undergo assessment, tentatively scheduled on September 5โ6.
The graduation ceremony was graced by the presence of the City Social Welfare and Development Officer, Ms. Marneli P. Sabas, who joined in recognizing the graduates for completing the training and taking an important step toward employment opportunities.
With the continued support of City Mayor Hon. Mark Christian โMarkeeโ R. Chua, City Vice Mayor Hon. Engr. Albert D. Chua, and the City Government officials, the City Government of Batac remains committed to supporting programs that equip Batacqueรฑos with skills and opportunities for sustainable employment.
