✨ World Immunization Week 2026 ✨💉
Successfully concluded the Bata-BATACqueño, Protektado! in celebration of World Immunization Week 2026 with the theme:
"Bakuna at Proteksyon ni Baby, My Responsibility."

The Bata-Batacqueño, Protektado program is an initiative of the City Government of Batac through the City Health Office headed by the Acting City Health Officer, Dr. Cee Abundo, under the National Immunization Program since 2023.

With the strong leadership and unwavering support of our City Mayor, Hon. Markee R. Chua, this program continues to ensure that every child is given the protection they deserve through safe and effective vaccination. It stands as a testament to our shared commitment to building a healthier, more resilient BATACqueño.

Fully Immunized Children (FIC) were awarded with 5 kg of rice, a Batacqueño shirt, a jute bag, ascorbic acid with zinc, and a Certificate of Completion. Flu and rotavirus vaccines will also be administered to eligible children to further strengthen their protection against preventable diseases.

❤️ Philippine Heart Month Celebration ❤️
In celebration of Philippine Heart Month, the City Government of Batac thru the City Health Office -City of Batac successfully conducted “Hataw Sayaw” Dance Exercise Competition last February 24, 2026. 💃🕺

Barangay Health Stations from across the city came together, showcasing not only their talent and creativity but also their strong commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Each performance reflected teamwork, energy, and the shared goal of building a heart-healthy community.

This initiative aims to empower community-based teams to actively promote health and wellness in their respective barangays through regular dance exercise sessions—encouraging every Batacqueño to stay active, fit, and heart-healthy.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our ever-supportive City Mayor, Hon. Markee Chua, as well as Sangguniang Panglungsod Committee on Health and Sanitation, Dr. Mara Medina - Borleo, and SP Member, Atty. Gabrielle "Jojo" Daguio for their continued support.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to our esteemed panel of judges:
