El Niño Alert issued ⚠️

DOST-PAGASA has officially raised its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Alert, following the high likelihood of its development in the coming months and possible persistence into early 2027. This may bring drier-than-usual conditions, including dry spells and droughts in parts of the country.

However, above-normal rainfall may still be experienced over the western sections during the Habagat season.

PUBLIC ADVISORY| MRC Memorandum 2026-078

The City Government of Batac will observe a standard eight-hour onsite workday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, from April 6 to 10, 2026.

In view of operational requirements and the 'Holiday Weeks' provision, and noting the Araw ng Kagitingan holiday on April 9, the City Government's current Compressed Workweek Arrangement is temporarily suspended.

Please be guided accordingly.

In observance of the Holy Week and in anticipation of the increased number of visitors, the City Government of Batac, in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Federation of Barangay Tanod, has activated support mechanisms to ensure a safe and orderly observance of the Holy Week.
We wish everyone a solemn, safe, and meaningful observance of this season.
