The City Government of Batac, through the Office of the City Assessor, invites all residents and stakeholders to participate in the Public Consultation on the proposed revision of the Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for the year 2028.

This consultation aims to present the proposed valuation data, gather feedback, and address concerns prior to its submission to the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) and the Secretary of Finance for review and approval.

Your participation is highly encouraged as we work together to ensure a fair and transparent valuation process.

PUBLIC ADVISORY| MRC Memorandum 2026-078

The City Government of Batac will observe a standard eight-hour onsite workday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, from April 6 to 10, 2026.

In view of operational requirements and the 'Holiday Weeks' provision, and noting the Araw ng Kagitingan holiday on April 9, the City Government's current Compressed Workweek Arrangement is temporarily suspended.

While Memorandum Circular No. 116, s. 2026 from the Office of the President authorizes a Work-From-Home (WFH) arrangement for government agencies on this date, the City Government has opted to maintain in-person operations during the morning session to ensure that essential services remain accessible to our constituents and visitors during the Holy Week rush.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our dear colleague, Suzette S. Benzon—our “Ate Zet”

She wasn’t just someone we worked with. She was someone we shared laughs with, leaned on during busy days, and found comfort in just having around. Her dedication to her work was unmatched, but it was her warmth, humor, and genuine camaraderie that truly made her special.

Ate Zet was a deeply respected and esteemed member of our office, not only because of what she did, but because of who she was. She had a way of bringing people together and making even the simplest moments meaningful.

Her absence leaves a quiet space that words can’t fully express. But the memories she gave us—the laughter, the kindness, the everyday moments—will stay with us always.

Rest well, Ate Zet. You will always be remembered, and you will be deeply missed.
