🎉 Due to the overwhelming response and the immediate filling of all available slots for the August 1, 2026 Trek to Mother Tree, we are pleased to open a Second Batch on August 8, 2026!

Thank you for your overwhelming support and enthusiasm in celebrating Bicol Natural Park Day 2026. We are truly grateful for the incredible response from the public. In response to the high demand, we are delighted to provide another opportunity to experience one of Bicol Natural Park's remarkable natural treasures—the Mother Tree.

“Pinta para sa Kagubatan: Madya Na!” 🍃

Join the Mural Painting Initiative with the theme, “SINAG-KALIKASAN: Sining at Kamalayan para sa Kalikasan,” highlighting the Official Launching of the 2026 Bicol Natural Park Day pursuant to BNP Protected Area Management Office (PAMO) Resolution No. 2025-23, series of 2025, declaring every 1st day of August as Bicol Natural Park Day.

This initiative aims to increase environmental awareness on biodiversity conservation, forest protection, and sustainable protected area management of BNP through creative expression.

✨Let us come together to tell stories of stewardship, resilience, and responsibility.

🎨Activity Highlights:
* Open to National Government Agencies (NGAs), Local Government Units (LGUs), Academic Institutions, Organizations, Community Groups and other interested groups within Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and neighboring provinces.
* Participating team shall consist of three (3) to five (5) members.
* Each team shall be assigned a designated mural panel or wall section at the DPWH Slope Protection Project along Maharlika Highway within Bicol Natural Park.
* The organizers shall provide the paint, while participating teams shall provide their own painting tools and equipment.
* All mural designs must be original and must highlight one or more of the following themes:
* Bicol Natural Park as a Protected Area;
* Biodiversity Conservation;
* Forest and Wildlife Protection;
* Native Flora and Fauna of Bicol Natural Park;
* Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience;
* Sustainable Ecotourism;
* Environmental Stewardship;
* Forest Restoration and Tree Growing; and Conserving Nature for Future Generations.

* Entries shall not contain political messages, commercial advertisements, offensive images, discriminatory content, or copyrighted artworks.
* Participants are encouraged to use environmentally friendly and low-impact painting materials whenever practicable.
* Painting shall be confined only to the assigned mural area.
* Participants shall observe cleanliness, proper waste management, occupational safety, and environmental responsibility throughout the activity.
* The organizers reserve the right to photograph, reproduce, publish, and use the mural artworks for environmental education, advocacy campaigns, exhibits, publications, and other non-commercial promotional purposes, with proper acknowledgment of the artists.

🏅Recognition & Incentives

* Top three (3) mural panels that best embody the message environmental stewardship and creativity will be given special recognition and awarded incentives.

1st Prize - Php 5,000.00
2nd Prize - Php 3,000.00
3rd Prize - Php 2,000.00

All participating teams shall receive Certificate of Participation.

Here are the complete details and route info for FUN RUN 2026: Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!

🎽 Race Kit Claiming

• Dates: July 23 & 24, 2026 (Thursday & Friday)

• Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Location: LGU Basud, Municipal Population Office (2nd Floor of MSWDO)

• Inclusions: Race Singlet & Race Bib

• ⚠️ Note: Bring a Valid I.D. upon claiming!

🗺️ Race Routes

• 3 KM Route: Starts along Mangcamagong Boulevard, runs straight along the coastal scenic road, loops at the designated U-turn point, and finishes back at the starting line.

• 5 KM Route: Starts at Mangcamagong Boulevard, heads inland passing through Taba-taba, loops back towards the coastal road, and finishes at the main boulevard.

5:00 AM: Program Proper & Welcome Messages
