President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has signed into law the bill moving the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections to October 2023.

Signed last Oct. 10, a copy of Republic Act No. 11935 was already published in the Official Gazette.

The Municipality of Baroy, Province of Lanao del Norte have applied for Drug Clearing in line with the Barangay Drug Clearing Program (BDCP) on the holistic and whole-of-nation approach in addressing the drug problem by enlisting the participation of local government units (LGUs), government agencies, and various stakeholders of the national anti-drug campaign.

During the 7th Meeting for CY 2022 of the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing (ROCBDC), Barangay MALIWANAG and MANAN-AO were declared as Drug Cleared/Free Barangay on September 26, 2022 at DILG Regional Office, Cagayan De Oro City.
