The Local Government Unit of Barotac Viejo actively participated in the launching of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at the Barotac Viejo National High School, reaffirming its commitment to quality education and community partnership.

Mayor Bongbong Tupas together with Vice Mayor Vivian Buenavista and SB Members joined the teachers, parents, students, and various stakeholders in preparing the school for the opening of classes through clean-up drives, minor repairs, and campus improvement activities.

This year's Brigada Eskwela carries the theme, โ€œBayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,โ€ emphasizing the importance of unity and collective action in creating a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment.

The LGU Barotac Viejo also joins the family Herrada in Barangay Balanti-an, Balasan, Iloilo with Balasan Municipal Mayor "Pilo" Ganzon in praying for eternal peace for his soul and for strength and comfort during this difficult time.

In recognition of his years of service, LGU Barotac Viejo extended its final tribute and paid last respects, honoring his invaluable contributions to public service and to the municipality. His dedication and sense of duty left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community he served.

His interment will be held tomorrow, June 04, 2026 in Balasan, Iloilo, where family, friends, and loved ones will gather to bid their final farewell.

The officials and employees of LGU Barotac Viejo gathered this morning for the regular Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, marking the start of another productive week of public service.

Effective June 1, 2026, the regular office hours of the Local Government Unit of Barotac Viejo shall be observed from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in accordance with Executive Order No. 2026-013.
