💉 CHIKITING LIGTAS 2026 | STRENGTHENING IMPLEMENTATION

The Western Visayas Center for Health Development and Iloilo Provincial Health Office conducted field monitoring in different vaccination sites across Barotac Viejo during the MRSIA and Vitamin A Supplementation rollout.

The visit focused on observing actual implementation, reviewing protocols, providing technical feedback, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

With every monitoring visit comes an opportunity to strengthen our processes and ensure a more effective, safe, and quality rollout for our children.

As of August 12, 2026, 36,765 (21.33%) of eligible children aged 6–59 months in the Province of Iloilo have already received their protection against measles and rubella. 💙

Thirteen municipalities are on track to meet their daily targets for Day 3, led by Miagao, followed by the City of Passi, Guimbal, Barotac Viejo, Alimodian, New Lucena, Pototan, Mina, Balasan, Barotac Nuevo, Igbaras, Anilao, and San Dionisio.

As we move into Day 4, our LGUs are gearing up to reach 34% of the target population today. 💪💙

Watch out for our vaccination teams as they visit your barangays from August 10 to 28, 2026, bringing the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine to children aged 6–59 months.

Every child vaccinated is one step closer to a measles- and rubella-free Iloilo! 💙
