LOOK: CSC develops new qualification standards for the Civil Service

✔️ CSC and UP initiate the development of new Qualification Standards (QS) that will modernize how government agencies will recruit, select, and develop talent.

✔️ “This initiative is a critical step in aligning the QS with the present and future demands of governance,” CSC Chairperson Yap emphasized.

✔️ Updating the QS will strengthen the professionalization of government service, allowing agencies to better identify talent, match competencies with roles, and uphold merit-based leadership and governance.

✔️ The existing QS Manual is nearly 3 decades old.

The Municipal Government of Barlig through the Barlig MHO successfully conducted a mobile blood donation "Dugo mo, Dugtong ng Buhay ko" in partnership with the dedicated health workers from the Red Cross. This is one of the activities in celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary. Thank you to all the kawani who supported this cause, for being a life saver! To the MHO staffs led by Dr. Adrian D. Sarmiento na suki na ng blood donation drive na to, maraming maraming salamat and of course sa lahat ng mga donors, mabuhay kayo. God bless you🙏🏻

While most of us are busy launching and flexing PCSA activities we have lost touch of the very grassroots of our workforce: the blue collared ones. This PCSA month let's give them honor and dignity by giving them formal training and a little hiatus in their day to day activity. Seeing them indulge in the activity gives the celebratiion more meaningful.
Thank you kapihan team for the support, our partners from TESDA, accomodating staffs of Laloutte Inn Sagada and of course the Municipal Mayor for funding the training.


Also, a bloodletting activity will be happening on Monday, September 22nd at Municipal Health Office.
