Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and direct supervision of 𝑭𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑵𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑺, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Provincial Fire Marshal, Catanduanes, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-In-Charge, Baras, duty personnel of this station participated in an online Holy Mass as part of the station’s spiritual and morale-building activity. The activity provided personnel with an opportunity to strengthen their faith, reflect, and foster unity among the members of the station.

Following the online mass, the duty personnel shared a meal together, promoting camaraderie, teamwork, and fellowship among station members. The activity further strengthened the spirit of cooperation and mutual support among personnel while maintaining operational readiness and professionalism.

The activity involved cleaning and clearing of designated areas, proper waste disposal, and maintaining the surroundings to promote a healthy, safe, and conducive workplace for all personnel and visitors.

Beyond cleanliness, the activity highlights the importance of discipline, teamwork, environmental responsibility, and community involvement in building a cleaner and safer environment.

🔥 FIRE SAFETY TIPS TO PREVENT FIRES:

▪️ Always check electrical wires, outlets, and appliances for signs of damage.
▪️ Avoid overloading electrical outlets and extension cords.
▪️ Never leave cooking unattended.
▪️ Keep matches, lighters, candles, and other ignition sources away from children.
▪️ Store LPG, gasoline, and other flammable materials properly and away from sources of heat.
▪️ Keep exits, hallways, and fire lanes free from obstruction.
▪️ Turn off and unplug electrical appliances when leaving the house or when not in use.
▪️ Keep a fire extinguisher accessible and make sure household members know how to use it.
▪️ Prepare and practice a family fire evacuation plan.
▪️ In case of fire, stay calm, evacuate immediately, and call 911.

The activity focused on enhancing the driving skills, road safety awareness, vehicle handling, and operational readiness of personnel, particularly those tasked with driving emergency response vehicles. It also provided an opportunity for personnel to strengthen their familiarity with proper driving techniques and safety practices essential to the safe and timely delivery of emergency response services.

Baras Fire Station, in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and other partner agencies, participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack.

The activity aimed to strengthen inter-agency coordination, emergency preparedness, communication, and response capabilities in addressing potential active attack incidents and other emergencies.

Through continuous training and collaboration, we strengthen our collective readiness to respond effectively, protect lives, and keep our communities safe.
