The Barangay Guiwanon is now accepting applications for the Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program, which aims to support deserving college students in completing their education.
📌 Who is Eligible?
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Eligibility Criteria
The barangays, through their respective Committee on Education,
shall select the five (5) beneficiaries based on the following criteria:
a) Incoming/current fourth-year college student for the SY 2026-2027;
b) From vulnerable households;
c) At risk of dropping out; and/or
d) From a family with no member who has completed tertiary
education (prioritized).
e) Resident of barangay concerned.
Students in 5th or 6th year may be eligible provided they are
graduating in SY 2026-2027.
f. Applicants who are currently receiving or have already availed of any scholarship program are NOT eligible to apply for the Bagong Pilipinas Barangay Scholars Program (BBMP).

📍Requirements
Please submit the following documents to your Barangay Hall to BRGY SECRETARY:
1. Photocopy of Third Year, 2nd Semester Grade
2. Study Load, Certificate of Enrollment or Proof of Enrollment for 4th Year (SY 2026–2027)

📍PROCESS
1. MESSAGE SK BRIAN FOR CONFIRMATION OF YOUR APPLICATION AND FOR SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS
2. All applications will undergo an evaluation and transparent screening process based on the program’s eligibility criteria.
3. Only qualified applicants who satisfy all eligibility requirements will be considered for the selection of the five (5) scholars.
Note: Students studying in colleges or universities outside the city or municipality are still eligible, provided they are bona fide residents of the barangay.

🎓 Scholarship Assistance
Each selected scholar will receive:
💰 ₱20,000 Financial Assistance
Only five (5) beneficiaries per barangay will be selected. The grant serves as a Finisher Fund to help students complete their college education.
📚 Allowable Expenses
The financial assistance may be used for:
● Tuition and other school fees
● School supplies and books
● Transportation expenses
● Meals and daily allowances
● Other necessary educational requirements
