The Municipality of Bansalan invites everyone to take part in the observance of Earth Hour on April 22, 2026 (Wednesday), from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

In line with the celebration of Earth Day 2026 with the theme โ€œOur Power, Our Planet,โ€ all offices, barangays, business establishments, schools, organizations, and residents are encouraged to participate by:

๐Ÿ’ก Switching off non-essential lights
๐Ÿ”Œ Turning off electrical appliances
๐ŸŒฑ Promoting energy conservation and environmental awareness

This simple act symbolizes our collective commitment to protecting the environment and promoting sustainability in our community.

Essential services such as public safety, health, traffic management, and emergency response will remain operational as needed.

Opportunities await our youth! The Municipality of Bansalan is now accepting applications for the Scholarship Grant for SY 2026-2027 from April 16โ€“30, 2026.

๐Ÿ“Œ ๐–๐‡๐Ž ๐‚๐€๐ ๐€๐๐๐‹๐˜โ“

1. Bona fide residents of Bansalan. Parents/legal guardians should likewise be bona fide residents of Bansalan.
2. Applicants must belong to any of the following: indigent, displaced, or marginalized families
3. Incoming 1stโ€“4th year college students at UM Bansalan College or St. Maryโ€™s College of Bansalan, Inc.

LIMITED SLOTS AVAILABLE. Scholarship grantees shall receive PhP 13,500.00 per semester, to be paid directly to the school. To qualify for continued availment of the scholarship, grantees must maintain a grade of not lower than 80 and a GWA of at least 85.
