Witnessing the "Unseen Spectrum" of Banisilan!

โ€‹Our team at the Tourism Office had the pleasure of visiting the KUDLIT Visual Arts Exhibit MMXXVI, hosted by the talented students of Banisilan National High School - Special Program in the Arts.

โ€‹In celebration of National Arts Month, we are beyond proud to support our local young artists as they showcase their creativity through CHROMA: The Unseen Spectrum. These works prove that the soul of Banisilan is just as colorful as its landscapes!

โ€‹Supporting our local arts scene is a vital part of building a richer, more vibrant tourism experience for everyone.

Congratulations to the student-artists and mentors for such a breathtaking display!

Making the front page!

โ€‹We are incredibly proud to see Banisilanโ€™s 1st Bugโ€™aya Festival and the Mutya ng Banisilan 2026 pageant featured in the Daily Tribune! This national coverage highlights our municipality's journey from a quiet resettlement area to a vibrant hub of "tri-people" culture and agricultural abundance.

โ€‹The feature celebrates our newly crowned queen, Princess Mary Lastino of Barangay Tumbao Camasi, alongside her court: Naziel Ann Balasoto (1st Runner-up), Samantha Jill Roces (2nd Runner-up), Jennifer Tinor (3rd Runner-up), and Patrizjah Bianca Angeles (4th Runner-up).

โ€‹As noted by Mayor Arlene Alisasis and Vice Mayor Jesus Alisasis, this pageant is more than just a showcase of beauty; it is a platform for our young leaders to serve as ambassadors of our rich heritage and the "Bugโ€™aya" (abundance) of our land.

โ€‹From the colorful street dancing to this prestigious coronation night, Banisilan is officially on the map!
