📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | CHED TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM (TDP)

Applications for the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) for the First Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 are now officially open.

Qualifications:
• Filipino undergraduate student
• Enrolled in a first undergraduate degree program in a State University or College (SUC), Local University or College (LUC), or Private Higher Education Institution (PHEI) included in the CHED Registry of Programs and Institutions and covered by a CHED-UniFAST Memorandum of Agreement
• Not a beneficiary of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), CHED Scholarship Programs (CSPs), or any other government-funded student financial assistance program

Applicants who have already submitted an application for the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP), as well as current TDP grantees, are advised not to re-apply, as duplicate submissions shall no longer be accepted or processed.

Interested and qualified applicants may inquire in the Office of Congressman Sandro Marcos located at Brgy. 9, Sta. Angela, La Tabacalera, Laoag City.

Please note that the endorsement and submission of applications do not guarantee admission to the program. All applications shall undergo validation in accordance with existing guidelines and shall be subject to the availability of funds. Applicants enrolled in institutions or programs not included in the CHED Registry, as well as those with incomplete documentary requirements, shall not be considered eligible.

𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲

A Service Caravan on Civil Registration was hosted by the Municipality of Bangui, Ilocos Norte and conducted at the Bangui People’s Center on April 26 and 30, 2026.

As pronounced by Atty. Shiela O. De Guzman, Regional Director of PSA RSSO1 during the Opening Program, the activity was the first of its kind in the Province of Ilocos Norte.

The services rendered included the issuance of PSA Civil Registry documents through the Regional CRS Mobile Outlet, registration and verification for the National ID conducted by the PSA Ilocos Norte Registration Team, as well as a Civil Registration Clinic, consultative forum, and birth registration under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP), facilitated by the Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office (MCRO) of Bangui, Ilocos Norte and the PSA Ilocos Norte BRAP Focal Person.

Additional services were also extended to senior citizens who are social pensioners through the verification of their National IDs.

The National ID Registration Team further extended their services on May 6, 2026 to accommodate clients who were not served during the second day of the activity.

The successful conduct of the caravan was made possible through the close collaboration of PSA RSSO I, PSA Ilocos Norte, and the MCRO Bangui, with the endorsement of Municipal Administrator Florencio G. Sales Jr. and the final approval of Municipal Mayor Denton Lawrence G. Garvida, in his continued desire to bring public services closer to the people.

📢 CALLING ALL TRICYCLE DRIVERS OF BANGUI!

As requested by the Metro Ilocos Norte Council (MINC), all tricycle drivers are encouraged to visit the Office of the Mayor - PESO Desk on or before May 13, 2026 to update their information and records for future benefits and other transport-related programs.

Please bring your updated Franchise Registration.

The road to greatness rolls through Bangui 🚴‍♂️✨

As one of the towns along the route of the 𝑴𝑷𝑻𝑪 𝑻𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒖𝒛𝒐𝒏 2026, we proudly welcome the riders, organizers, and their teams to our municipality.

This 14-stage international cycling event will pass through Bangui tomorrow, May 5, 2026, as part of the Stage 7 Individual Time Trial.

As we make way for the participants, we kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation. Some roads will be temporarily impassable during the race. We sincerely thank you for your patience and support in ensuring a safe and successful event for all.
