While the Amian Festival is one cornerstone of our identity that allows us to gather, celebrate our rich culture and honor the winds that define our beautiful town, the world oil crisis triggered by the escalating global tension calls for austerity measures and prudence in the utilization of resources.

Pursuant to the declaration of State of National Energy Emergency and after thorough deliberation with our management and stakeholders, the Local Government Unit has decided the 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 of our annual town fiesta activities. A large-scale celebration is not feasible at this time as we need to prioritize energy-saving initiatives and resource-conservation efforts.

We appreciate your kind understanding and steadfast support. Our spirit of Binnadang remains strong and though the festival is on hold, our commitment to serving and protecting our people’s welfare remains our top priority.

Everyone is also encouraged to practice energy and resource conservation and focus on critical needs. Together let us cushion the impact of this difficult and uncertain time.
