๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ - ๐๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ ๐, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ญ ๐:๐๐ ๐๐, A member of the Communist Terrorist Group/New People's Army (CTG/NPA) on lay-low status in the barrios voluntarily surrendered to the operatives of the 1st Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company under the direct supervision of PMAJ VENCIOLY M. LUZANO, Acting Force Commander, in coordination with personnel Tayum Municipal Police Station, 1504th MC, RMFB 15, Intelligence Special Operations Division (ISOD) of the Intelligence Group (IG), and Police Intelligence Unit.
The surrenderee expressed his willingness to return to the fold of the law and support the government's peace and security initiatives, particularly the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) pursuant to Executive Order No. 70, as well as the Regional Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (RLECC) Resolution No. 6, Series of 2021, particularly the โDumanon Makitungtungโ initiative.
As part of his voluntary surrender, the surrenderee also turned over one (1) homemade caliber .45 firearm, bearing no serial number or markings and without ammunition. The surrender supports the government's intensified campaign against loose fi****ms pursuant to Republic Act No. 10591, otherwise known as the โComprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act.โ
The surrenderee underwent proper documentation and custodial debriefing. Meanwhile, the surrendered firearm remains in the custody of the 1st Abra PMFC for proper documentation prior to its turnover to the Abra Provincial Forensic Unit for ballistic examination.
The 1st Abra PMFC, together with its partner law enforcement units and agencies, remains committed to supporting the government's peace and security efforts and encouraging individuals involved in armed groups to abandon armed struggle and return to the fold of the law.
