PGLU Holds Flag-Raising Ceremony, Celebrates 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary

The Provincial Government of La Union, headed by Honorable Governor Mario Eduardo C. Ortega, conducted its first Flag-Raising Ceremony for the month, highlighting the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

The ceremony was graced by Director Cornelia M. Rillera, Director IV of the Civil Service Commission Regional Office I (CSC RO I), who joined the Provincial Government in commemorating the significant milestone and honoring the dedication and commitment of government workers in public service.

The Governor also led the Oath-Taking Ceremony of newly promoted PGLU employees, recognizing their career advancement and renewed commitment to serving the people of La Union. The program likewise included the Awarding of Retirement Appreciation, honoring employees who have dedicated years of service to the Provincial Government.

In keeping with the spirit of โ€œLa Union Agkaysa,โ€ the occasion underscored the importance of unity, teamwork, and collective commitment among government employees in delivering responsive and meaningful public service to the people of La Union.
