Para sa kaalaman at kapanatagan ng lahat, ang Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections ay isasagawa sa November 2, 2026, ayon sa Republic Act No. 12232.

Ang batas na ito ay pinirmahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. noong August 13, 2025. Hindi na ito maituturing na “Breaking News” tulad nang nakasaad sa social media post ng Asenso Ka Barangay page sa kanang bahagi.

PAALALA na ang pagpapalaganap ng maling impormasyon upang maging sanhi ng kalituhan ng mga botante ay maaaring ituring na Election Offense sa ilalim ng Section 261(z)(11) ng Omnibus Election Code.

Please be advised that the Office of the Election Officer, Banga, South Cotabato will be CLOSED on Friday, May 29, 2026 due to all COMELEC South Cotabato personnel attending the Monthly Provincial Conference at T'boli, South Cotabato.

Office Operations will resume on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Mission Accomplished: Satellite Registration Wrap-Up! 🗳️✨

We are thrilled to announce that our Satellite Voters Registration for the outlying barangays of the municipality of Banga, South Cotabato has been officially completed!

This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of the residents from the barangays. Thank you for showing up, lining up, and making your voices heard. To the Brgy. Officials & Staff, we appreciate your dedication in facilitating the process and providing the space to serve your constituents.

By bridging the distance between the municipal proper and your homes, we’ve made democratic participation faster, easier, and more accessible for everyone. Strengthening our democracy starts at the local level, and you all stepped up!

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the Commission will implement a 4-day work week for the month of May 2026.

In line with this, please be informed of the adjusted schedule of activities of this Office:

🔹 Work Arrangement
• Work-from-home setup every Monday for the entire month of May except on May 18, 2026 (Last day of Voter Registration)
• Office hours: Tuesday to Friday
• Office remains OPEN on Saturdays (May 2, 9, 16) for Voter’s Registration

🔹 Satellite Voter’s Registration
• Barangays Rizal Poblacion and Lampari
• Originally set on February 19, 2026
➡️ Rescheduled to May 7 (Rizal Poblacion) and May 8 (Lampari)

We encourage everyone to take note of these changes and plan accordingly.

Registration is still on-going at the office from Tuesdays - Saturdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including Holidays, until May 18, 2026.
