The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), together with Ms. Korina Compao Reyes, Mr. Josua V. Penalba, and other BFAR Staff, successfully conducted the distribution of assistance under the Modified Tilapia Extensive Project to qualified beneficiaries in support of sustainable aquaculture production and livelihood development.
Each beneficiary received the following production inputs:
โข 5,000 Tilapia Fingerlings
โข 1 bag Agricultural Lime (Hydrated), 25 kg/bag
โข 5 bags Organic Fertilizer (Dried Vermicast), 25 kg/bag
โข 4 bags Tilapia Starter Feeds (Floater)
โข 20 bags Tilapia Grower Feeds (Floater)
โข 7 bags Tilapia Finisher Feeds (Floater)
The beneficiaries are:

โข Mr. Soxy Recasa โ Brgy. Sigcay
This initiative aims to enhance fish production, strengthen food security, and provide additional livelihood opportunities for local fisherfolk and farming communities through sustainable aquaculture practices.
The Municipal Agriculture Office extends its sincere gratitude to BFAR, Ms. Korina Compao Reyes, and the BFAR Staff for their continued support and dedication in uplifting the fisheries sector and promoting sustainable livelihood programs in the community.
