Dear friends, balikbayans, guests, and visitors,

On behalf of the people of Banate, Iloilo, I cordially invite you to join us in our month-long celebration of the Kasag Festival. This lively event showcases our abundant culture, meaningful traditions, and deep appreciation for the generous harvest of blue crabs, locally called "kasag".

From the first to the 19th of December, 2023, Banate will buzz with a range of happenings, each made to display our distinct ancestry and the welcoming warmth that characterizes our town.

Enjoy the rhythms of our street dance competition, and our cultural stories/dances, indulge in our Kasag Boodle fight, buy “pasalubong” from our local trade fair/bazaar, see the crowning of our Miss Kasag Festival 2023, and the tasty treats of our local food at our Food Festival Area.

In this campaign for the BSKE 2023, we are not just promoting a candidate; we are advocating for a vision and a set of values that we believe in wholeheartedly. I am convinced that I am deserving of your support and your vote for several compelling reasons.

First and foremost, I am deeply committed to representing the interests, concerns, and aspirations of our youth community. I am dedicated to being a voice for your needs and concerns in all decision-making processes.

Second, my experiences and track record demonstrate a genuine commitment to creating positive change. I have actively participated in various youth initiatives, community projects, and leadership roles, all of which have equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to lead effectively and advocate for our generation.

Furthermore, I bring a fresh perspective to the table. As a member of this generation, I understand our challenges, dreams, and the unique opportunities that lie ahead. I aim to channel our collective energy and vision into concrete actions that will not only benefit us now but also set the stage for a brighter future.

Lastly, I firmly believe in inclusivity and collaboration. I am eager to work alongside all members of our youth community, regardless of background, ideology, or affiliation, to ensure that our collective voice is heard and our concerns are addressed comprehensively.
